Overview
This position is contingent upon contract award. SOSi is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to provide oversight of on-site operations and provide financial resources, and act as the single point of contact with the Government, as required to meet the overall requirements of the Life Support Services (LSS) Contract.
Responsibilities- Maintain a safe workplace and ensure safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
- Comply with Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
- Manage, monitor and track services.
- Act as the Contractor’s representative ensuring that all task order requirements are met.
- Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
- Identify problem areas to resolve issues and respond to mission requirements to perform task order requirements.
- Plan and manage projects.
- Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from staff and USG representatives.
- Active in Scope Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.
- Experience in life support services and/or logistics management with a minimum of 10 years at the Deputy PM level.
- 5 years of experience providing such services to large facilities or operations greater than $10 Million in annual operations.
- Experience, particularly in the range of $00 Million or more is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and projects to successful outcomes.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis, with the ability to manage a large budget effectively and ensure cost-efficient delivery of services.
- Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and risk management is valuable.

- Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
- Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.

This Position reports to :
Local Dvision Operations Mgr,PAEN, Qatar
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.
The work model for the role is locally at ABB office / site in Qatar, hybrid work option for a couple of days might be arranged.
This role is contributing to the PAEN in IMEA
You will be mainly accountable for :- Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
- Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
- Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

Qualifications for the role- You are immersed in working with PM tools & processes , ABB PM framework and the Process automation in Oil and Gas market
- You have 15 years of experience in Automation in Oil and Gas filed or working as a Project Manager with ABB units , Process Automationdivision)
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of ABB PM processes and framework
- You are innovative around multidisciplined automation project management and have strong leadership skills
- You hold a degree in Electrical / electronics or Instrumentation Engineering
- You have excellent communications skills in English
- You hold valid PM certification
