We are recruiting for an Aircraft Mechanic , based in Doha, Qatar.
The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for performing all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in accordance with QCAA Regulations, QR Standards , and procedures to ensure the safety of flight for all Qatar Executive (QE) and third-party aircraft. This role involves carrying out maintenance on QE Aircraft and third-party aircraft, adhering to the highest standards of safety and cost-efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing maintenance tasks according to technical documentation.
- Planning and executing tasks effectively, ensuring all necessary assistance, materials, and tools are available.
- Inspecting aircraft systems, structures, and power plants as per technical documentation.
- Communicating with the Lead Engineer regarding work status, issues, and troubleshooting recommendations.
- Adjusting, aligning, and calibrating aircraft systems with appropriate tools and test equipment.
- Conducting operational and functional tests, rigging, and adjustments of power plant systems, APU's, and components.
- Inspecting power plants, APU's, and components for damage, leaks, or malfunctions.

- To recognize, file and alert the Department Manager of trends in customer calls.
- Follow up in cooperation with finance to ensure payment has been done prior to departure.
- To prepare professional commercial offers, contracts and presentations.
- Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Update all relevant systems (FOS/CRM) to enable QE management to create monthly commercial reports on competitive environment and overall sales and marketing activities execution.
- Assess and resolve enquiries, requests, needs and complaints, primarily on the telephone, but also by other electronic access channels, to ensure that the customer enquiries are resolved at first point of contact, unless specialist knowledge or further investigation is required.
- Maintain electronic and written databases of letters and forms received, information given, services requested and complaints made, to ensure accuracy of information and efficiency when dealing with customers.

In this role, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on QE Aircraft and third party to the highest maintenance standards and safety in a cost-effective manner.
**Specific responsibilities for the role include**:
- Perform assigned maintenance tasks in strict accordance with the technical documentation provided.
- Plan and carry out assigned tasks in an effective manner by ensuring all required assistance, materials and tooling are on-hand to complete the task within the agreed timeframe.
- Perform inspections/tests of a/c systems, structure and power plants as per technical documentation.
- Through effective troubleshooting determine cause of a/c defects and resolve these defects quickly.
- Clearly communicate with the Lead Engineer status of work performed, any issues arising and provide constructive feedback/recommendations regarding any maintenance difficulties and troubleshooting.
- Adjust, align and calibrate a/c systems using hand tools, gauges, instruments and test equipment.
- Perform operational/functional tests, as well as rigging and adjustment of Power Plant systems, APU’s, systems and components using test equipment to determine serviceability and diagnose malfunctions.
- Inspect power plants, APU’s and other components for cracks, wear, damage, leaks or incorrect function.
- Modify a/c structures, systems or components in accordance with Engineering Orders, Drawings and/or Technical Publications.
- Assists in the departure and arrival of QE and third-party aircraft.
- Performs additional tasks as required and instructed by the Lead Engineer.
