QA/QC Manager
with a strong background in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing quality assurance and control functions in large-scale EPC contracting companies, particularly in projects involving refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers, fabrication, erection of storage tanks, piping, and structural steel works.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project quality plan, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures.
- Oversee quality control activities during fabrication, erection, and commissioning phases.
- Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors on QA/QC matters.
- Lead and manage QA/QC teams across project sites.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Review and approve quality documentation, welding procedures, NDT reports, and test packages.

About the role:
The position will be accountable for ensuring that all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, in compliance with the regulations, and that all services, contracts, procedures and activities meet the optimum quality and standards. - Responsible for developing, reviewing and monitoring the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures, Operational Plans, and Contracts' Service Level Agreements for terminal operations, to ensure that all information is up to date, well documented and in alignment with the involved teams and stakeholders.
- Responsible for the optimization and improvement of the terminal operations processes with the objectives of proactively enhancing the operational efficiency and the overall customers experience, identifying and mitigating the risks, and contributing to the company's cost saving and revenue generation.
- Accountable for ensuring the compliance with the country and the industry standard, regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and responsible for the effective communication of any related updates or changes.
- Accountable for the development of strategies to analyze the daily terminal operations reports and translate them to management reports for management update and feedback.
- Accountable to develop scope of service documents to support tender process and technical tender evaluations.
- Accountable for reviewing and monitoring the of service contracts including weekly / monthly / quarterly performance review, in order to ensure their effective implementation and management.
- Accountable for analyzing activities of the teams, stakeholders and contractors based on the defined terminal operations Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements in order to evaluate their performance and implement improvements where applicable.
- Responsible for the liaison and coordination with senior management, government bodies, key stakeholders and third-party service providers with the aim to ensure full alignment and coordination.
