What are my responsibilities?
- You will lead the maintenance and updates of the Quality Management Plan, ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001 and related standards.
- You will conduct both internal and external audits, acting as the single point of contact and managing follow-up actions from start to closure.
- You will monitor and track corrective actions from incidents, investigations, inspections, or audits, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- You will manage and implement document control processes, guiding the document control team and overseeing templates, review gates, and approval workflows.
- You will maintain information management systems, including the handling of downloads, documents, and recordings to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- You will support the HSQET Manager with meetings, data collection, analysis, reporting, and preparation of quality performance updates.
- You will ensure all processes are followed in alignment with approved quality methods and standards.
- You will lead the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) process to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- You will work closely with teams, providing guidance through direct observation, consultation, and constructive feedback.
- You will oversee the timely review of quality parameters against agreed goals and processes.
- You will support Operations & Maintenance teams in preparing method statements, workflows, and quality documentation.
- You will lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) management, ensuring accurate maintenance of the CAPA register.
- You will track, monitor, and report project quality metrics, identifying systemic issues and implementing solutions.
- You will organize and lead review meetings with stakeholders to address quality performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- You will champion initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and embed a culture of quality across all functions.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field, with recognized qualifications in quality assurance on similar projects.
- You are a certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, with additional experience in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance auditing being advantageous.
- You have at least 5 years’ experience in a senior quality assurance role within therail industry or public transport.
- You have a strong background in railway operations, preferably with transit system delivery experience and work in the Middle East.
- Experience working in Qatar’s railway sector is preferred.
- You have proven success in multicultural, multinational environments and can adapt to diverse work cultures.
- You have a very good command of both the spoken and written English language.
- You bring advanced knowledge of organizational business practices, problem resolution techniques, and industry best practices.
- You demonstrate strong analytical skills, proficiency with quality tools for metrics analysis, and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Support the HSQET Manager with meetings, data collection, analysis, reporting, and preparation of quality performance updates. Ensure all processes are followed in alignment with approved quality methods and standards. Lead the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) process to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with teams, providing guidance through direct observation, consultation, and constructive feedback. Oversee the timely review of quality parameters against agreed goals and processes. Support Operations & Maintenance teams in preparing method statements, workflows, and quality documentation. Lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) management, ensuring accurate maintenance of the CAPA register. Track, monitor, and report project quality metrics, identifying systemic issues and implementing solutions. Organize and lead review meetings with stakeholders to address quality performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Champion initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and embed a culture of quality across all functions. What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field, with recognized qualifications in quality assurance on similar projects. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification, with experience in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 being advantageous. At least 5 years’ experience in a senior quality assurance role within the rail industry or public transport. Strong background in railway operations, preferably with transit system delivery experience, especially in the Middle East. Experience working in Qatar’s railway sector is preferred. Proven success in multicultural, multinational environments and adaptability to diverse work cultures. Excellent command of both spoken and written English. Advanced knowledge of organizational business practices, problem resolution, and industry best practices. Strong analytical skills, proficiency with quality tools for metrics analysis, and advanced MS Office skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including moderation and delivering to all organizational levels. Critical thinking, decisive action, and effective prioritization skills. As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all manufacturing documents upload into Quality document central repository system (QMT) enabling global data book team to complete data book prior to release of product.
- Overseeing workload distribution and allocation of QC resources to meet plant delivery schedule.
- Coordinating customer or customer representative visits to witness and release the shipment.
- Overseeing fulfillment of contractual and regulatory requirements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Elaborating proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business partners about product Quality and compliance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to share information and implement improvements to products, process and procedures
