- Certification in Quality Management, Auditing, or Compliance (e.g., CQE, CQA, ISO Lead Auditor) is a plus.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced QC Inspector – Mechanical to join our quality control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical works (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, etc.) are performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality standards. Experience in large-scale MEP or oil & gas projects in Qatar is highly preferred.
What you will do?
- Perform daily site inspections and surveillance for all mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
- Review and verify material deliveries, installation methods, and work quality against the approved ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and method statements.
- Raise inspection requests (IRs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate with consultants and main contractors to ensure timely inspections and approvals.
- Monitor mechanical system testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, test results, and quality control reports.
- Ensure that all mechanical works adhere to project specifications, local authority requirements, and safety regulations.
- Attend QA/QC meetings and assist in the development and updating of quality procedures and checklists.
- Assist with snagging, de-snagging, and final handover inspections.
- Participate in internal and external audits and support the closeout of audit findings.
What you will need?
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience Minimum 10 years with minimum 5 years with relevant of experience as a Mechanical QC Inspector in construction or MEP projects.
- Can undertake complex technical support with no supervision task i.e. drafting, graphic design, engineering support, site inspection, IT network, administration, document control, KPI analysis and computation.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and relevant international codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.).
- Familiarity with QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications) and local authority standards.
- GCC/Qatar experience is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant technical software.
