**About this role**
- Monitors the effective oversight of Contractors construction quality efforts;

**What you need to bring**
- 15 years’ experience associated with Quality Control & coordination of quality activities within the Oil & Gas Construction Industry;
- Preferred: Associates Engineering or Engineering degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Materials or Science;
- Experience with multi-national contractors, in particular those involved in the construction of temporary site facilities other infrastructure;

**Job Responsibilities Highlights**:
- Review EPC Key Reporting Areas and advise areas for improvement.
- Review site statistics and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) including Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) and provide reports to management.
- Perform as focal point for Run Down Lines Quality, Welding and NDE matters and provide recommendations for improvement and corrective action as required.
- Conduct surveillance of Contractor and Subcontractor Welder Performance Qualification Testing welder and NDE qualifications.
- Participates in EPC Contractor's audit program (audit plan, schedule, checklist, reports, etc.)

**Knowledge and/or Experience**
- Degree in Metallurgical/Welding Engineering (or Mechanical Engineering with Welding Engineering).
- 15 years' experience associated with Welding Quality Control & coordination of Welding activities within the Oil & Gas Construction Industry.
- Qualifications in Auditing, Welding & Materials fields are desirable.
- NDT Level-II (RT, UT, PT, MT, AUT), and welding professional qualification (CSWIP, EWE, IWE or AWS) (where equivalent is proposed, evidence of equivalence shall be provided).
- Experience with multi-national contractors, in particular those involved in the construction of LNG production facilities,
- Assertive Quality management leadership skills. Must be capable of communicating Quality and Welding requirements, results and status throughout Company and contractor management and craft labour levels.

- Determine conformity of material received to customer specification and relevant code/standard through independent inspection and tests in accordance with the Project Quality Plan (PQP). Identify nonconformity for

- Assure material received in accordance with the PO, ITP, and Technical Specification, Codes / Material standards to determine conformity. All inspection results need to be documented on warehouse checklist and if nonconformity exists, suitable documentation (OS&D, NCR) shall be issued to establish corrective and preventive action.
- Perform receiving inspections such as visual, dimensional, verification of markings, review of Material Test Certificates / Inspection Release Notes in accordance with project specifications, codes / material standard and scope of work as noted in the PO and ITPs.
- Provide interpretation of applicable code/material standards and customer requirements. Any deviation, clarification and waivers deemed necessary shall be notified to the Senior Quality Inspector - Materials for generating change management process such as Site Query, Technical Query, Technical deviation, waivers etc.,

- Visit vendor premises and conduct vendor inspections as and when required, as per PO/ITP.
