Monitor Contractor’s Concrete Casting, Steel fixing, Anchor bolts, Grouting, Steel Structure erection, Block works, Soil & Excavation and Material-Receiving Quality Procedures implementation and QA/QC activities
Ensure all civil activities are performed according to Project requirements and that tests and reports are prepared, approved and included in documentation packages
Witness Site & Laboratory Tests related to civil activities
Monitor that materials and equipment are used in accordance with specifications
Carry out random checks on receiving-inspection of certified batch plants, mixers, lifting gears, etc
Check delivery documents against purchase orders, specifications and material certificates
Reject any material not meeting specifications or not bearing an authentic material certificate
Carry out random dimensional checks on materials
Follow-up on Corrective Actions to close out non-conformances
Monitor trends of non-compliance to client requirements and feedback on the status of the Contractor’s performance

Requirements: Civil/Structural/Architecture degree and/or diploma with experience in Quality Control in the multidiscipline construction environment
Preferably having formal training in QC and membership with recognized charted or other professional institution
10 years’ experience in a similar position, experience in GCC is desirable
Sound working knowledge of QC aspects and various testing requirements related to major Oil & Gas/Tank Farm/Pipeline/Petrochemical construction projects (related to the job)

**Civil Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities**:
Report the day to day operational basis to Site Quality Control Coordinators/Supervisors.
QC inspectors shall ensure the fulfilment of Project Quality Control Program requirements for specific areas of responsibility and monitor the quality of WORKS performed.
**Other functions are**:
- Control that SUBCONTRACTOR Quality team performs/issue the quality requirements for the specific activities.
- Monitoring of adequate implementation and performance of Inspection and Tests Plans (ITP) by SUBCONTRACTOR Maintain the record of inspections performed and ensure a properly storage and properly filing associated documentation produced.
- Carry out periodic inspections ("surveillance") in the areas where Construction works are being carried out to detect possible deviations and establish the appropriate actions for its resolution.
- Monitor the development and progress of the Subcontractor's quality activities
- Verify that the measuring equipment used are tested/calibrated as applicable and that they have the relevant evidences
- Ensure that SUBCONTRACTOR QC Inspectors are issuing RFl as per approved ITP.
- Coordinate the development of inspections with COMPANY and third party when applicable

- Issue Non-Conformities Reports (NCR)

- Prepare/Review the documentation required for approval and qualification of special processes (where applicable).
- Supervise the staff qualification in special processes. Maintain up-to-date inspection record files. Monitor the preparation and traceability of Final Quality Dossier Inspect materials and equipment when the Warehouse manager detects that there are damages, both at the reception and during their stay in the warehouse, preparing the relevant inspection report and issuing the non-conformity (if applicable).
- Verify that materials meet the necessary quality criteria and maintain the required traceability.
