Your responsibilities in the role will include:

1. Understand, document and improve the current working processes across functions (Core and Support functions) in detail.
2. Analyze the working process, evaluate effectiveness, discovering the gaps and the weakness points.
3. Reengineer the identified processes and suggest efficient working procedures that satisfy the organization’s business goals, objectives, quality culture and strategy.
4. Perform continuous studies and research to improve the business process and give recommendations to top management regarding the most suitable methodologies.
5. Lead process owners and stakeholders through the business process improvement process.
6. Perform effective change management to ensure sustainability of changes.
7. Help develop the corporate continuous improvement project plan.
8. Provide change inputs to existing Enterprise Systems based on business processes.

10. Manage process improvement projects in the organization using industry-standard project management techniques.

Essential attributes include:

1. Degree qualification in Commerce or comparable with Master’s Degree from a recognized institution being highly regarded.
2. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in business process re-engineering and methodologies is required, with experience in Government and GCC being highly desirable.
3. Ability to map processes including identifying critical path and areas to improve within the processes.
4. Ability to undertake sensitivity analysis for the existing processes.
5. Experience and knowledge in Quality Management tools (TQM, EFQM).
6. Experience in Construction industry with focus on Public Works or Utility services.
7. Strong knowledge in business processing tools such as VISIO or QPR is a plus and other BPR software.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
9. Problem solver with out of the box thinking.
10. Exposure to statistical tools for analysing processes is desirable.
11. Lean or Six Sigma training and implementation experience is desirable.
12. Ability to work across multi-functional teams to deliver quality on time and in a collaborative environment.

As the IFEC Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for generating detailed performance, usage, and SLA compliance reports, conducting regular quality checks, and monitoring system effectiveness across different fleets. It involves close coordination with engineering teams and suppliers to identify and resolve connectivity issues, verify service delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement of the passenger connectivity experience.

Some of the tasks include the following:

• Monitor and access performance portals and supplier dashboards for each connectivity system on a daily and weekly basis to track service status, performance metrics, and incident logs across different aircraft types.
• Generate comprehensive monthly and quarterly performance reports that include detailed analysis of bandwidth usage, user session trends, service uptime, by aircraft type, supplier, and route network.
• Analyze SLA compliance for each supplier by comparing actual system performance against contractual KPIs (e.g., minimum availability %, latency) and escalate discrepancies or persistent issues to management and vendor contacts.
• Manage data dashboards and automated reports using tools like Power Point that present IFEC quality performance, usage insights, and refund case volumes in a visual and accessible format for Management.
• Conduct routine quality checks and validation tests on IFEC portals across various fleets, including Wi-Fi login flows, portal content access, digital menu accuracy, and responsiveness to user interaction.
• Perform functional testing and verification for any new or updated digital features, content, or layout changes on the passenger portal, ensuring successful deployment across all aircraft configurations and reporting any inconsistencies or bugs.

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic professional to join the Product Development and Design.

• Communications, Engineering, IT or any related discipline) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a role involving content operations, digital media management and or IFEC-related responsibilities.
• Familiarity with IFE systems, digital platforms, software testing protocols (ATP), and content management platforms is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, with the ability to plan, coordinate and execute content and system updates across multiple platforms and stakeholders.
• Understanding of aviation safety, compliance, and data protection standards and experience working with SLAs, system dashboards, and supplier portals
• Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset with ability to identify issues early and implement solutions independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.

Spanning 11 km, the network connects the North and South Campuses of Education City with 19 Siemens Avenio trams, enhancing sustainable mobility in the region.

What are my responsibilities?

• Lead the maintenance and updates of the Quality Management Plan, ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001 and related standards.
• Conduct internal and external audits, acting as the single point of contact and managing follow-up actions from start to closure.
• Monitor and track corrective actions from incidents, investigations, inspections, or audits, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Manage and implement document control processes, guiding the document control team and overseeing templates, review gates, and approval workflows.
• Maintain information management systems, including handling downloads, documents, and recordings to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Support the HSQET Manager with meetings, data collection, analysis, reporting, and preparation of quality performance updates.
• Ensure all processes are followed in alignment with approved quality methods and standards.
• Lead the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) process to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with teams, providing guidance through direct observation, consultation, and constructive feedback.
• Oversee the timely review of quality parameters against agreed goals and processes.
• Support Operations & Maintenance teams in preparing method statements, workflows, and quality documentation.
• Lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) management, ensuring accurate maintenance of the CAPA register.
• Track, monitor, and report project quality metrics, identifying systemic issues and implementing solutions.
• Organize and lead review meetings with stakeholders to address quality performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Champion initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and embed a culture of quality across all functions.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field, with recognized qualifications in quality assurance on similar projects.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification, with experience in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 being advantageous.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a senior quality assurance role within the rail industry or public transport.
• Strong background in railway operations, preferably with transit system delivery experience, especially in the Middle East.
• Experience working in Qatar’s railway sector is preferred.
• Proven success in multicultural, multinational environments and adaptability to diverse work cultures.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
• Advanced knowledge of organizational business practices, problem resolution, and industry best practices.
• Strong analytical skills, proficiency with quality tools for metrics analysis, and advanced MS Office skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including moderation and delivering to all organizational levels.
• Critical thinking, decisive action, and effective prioritization skills.
