About The Role

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to be part of our Product Development & Design Division as Customer Experience Quality Specialist in Doha. As the Customer Experience Quality Specialist, you will be responsible to provide subject matter expertise for digital, product, service design and operations through detailed evaluations and testing of all customer touch points and systems (online and in person) to allow stakeholders to make well informed decisions for customer service enhancements, improve operational strategies and help Qatar Airways to enhance competitive edge and customer satisfaction by rapidly evolving. Carryout end to end customer journey audits in a role of a mystery shopper. Track and articulate NPS dashboards, customer rating scores, key drivers and other relevant metrics. Develop and maintain the digital journey report platform. Build a constructive bridge between customer experience design, operations stakeholders and training in order to streamline and improve processes to ensure Qatar Airways service proposition is protected and delivering highest standards in the industry.

Some Of The Tasks Include The Following

Carry out end to end customer experience quality monitoring audits. Discreetly gather insights on various aspects of customer journey. Test all digital systems where customer interacts with the brand, including, but not limited to mobile apps, website, live chat, bots, pop ups and social media. Identify opportunities and propose enhancements to increase and ease customer connection and satisfaction. Responsible for understanding current customer proposition, feedback, industry standards, expectations and emerging trends through research, and use this to drive improved customer experience. Interact with employees and online platforms on all customer touch points to monitor and gauge customer service. Evaluate all ground experience touch points at base and in outstations and build on competitor research to further enhance Qatar's proposition. Review and evaluate relevant airport facilities and services in order to enhance the customer experience for all areas. Contribute to development of customer journey design, engagement standards and KPl 's for all customer experience touch points for airport, ground, digital and inflight experience. Perform other department related duties as directed by Line Manager or Head of Department.

About You

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic professional to join the Product Development and Design.

High School, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent with a minimum of 5+ years of experience leading end-to-end customer experience quality audits across digital, product, service design, and/or operations—preferably in luxury hospitality or full-service airline environments. Proven management experience, driving performance improvements across customer experience initiatives. Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of delivering service insight reporting and strategic recommendations aligned with luxury/premium customer expectations. Deep understanding of industry trends, competitor benchmarking, and evolving standards in premium service environments. Your responsibilities in the role will include:

  1. Understand, document and improve the current working processes across functions (Core and Support functions) in detail.

As the IFEC Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for generating detailed performance, usage, and SLA compliance reports, conducting regular quality checks, and monitoring system effectiveness across different fleets.   • Monitor and access performance portals and supplier dashboards for each connectivity system on a daily and weekly basis to track service status, performance metrics, and incident logs across different aircraft types.
  • Generate comprehensive monthly and quarterly performance reports that include detailed analysis of bandwidth usage, user session trends, service uptime, by aircraft type, supplier, and route network.
  • Analyze SLA compliance for each supplier by comparing actual system performance against contractual KPIs (e.g., minimum availability %, latency) and escalate discrepancies or persistent issues to management and vendor contacts.

About you

  • Communications, Engineering, IT or any related discipline) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a role involving content operations, digital media management and or IFEC-related responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with IFE systems, digital platforms, software testing protocols (ATP), and content management platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, with the ability to plan, coordinate and execute content and system updates across multiple platforms and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of aviation safety, compliance, and data protection standards and experience working with SLAs, system dashboards, and supplier portals
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset with ability to identify issues early and implement solutions independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field, with recognized qualifications in quality assurance on similar projects.
  • You are a certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, with additional experience in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance auditing being advantageous.
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in a senior quality assurance role within therail industry or public transport.
  • You have a strong background in railway operations, preferably with transit system delivery experience and work in the Middle East.
  • Experience working in Qatar’s railway sector is preferred.
  • You have proven success in multicultural, multinational environments and can adapt to diverse work cultures.
  • You have a very good command of both the spoken and written English language.
  • You bring advanced knowledge of organizational business practices, problem resolution techniques, and industry best practices.

What are my responsibilities?

  • You will lead the maintenance and updates of the Quality Management Plan, ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001 and related standards.
  • You will conduct both internal and external audits, acting as the single point of contact and managing follow-up actions from start to closure.
  • You will monitor and track corrective actions from incidents, investigations, inspections, or audits, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • You will manage and implement document control processes, guiding the document control team and overseeing templates, review gates, and approval workflows.
  • You will maintain information management systems, including the handling of downloads, documents, and recordings to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • You will support the HSQET Manager with meetings, data collection, analysis, reporting, and preparation of quality performance updates.
  • You will ensure all processes are followed in alignment with approved quality methods and standards.
  • You will lead the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) process to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You will work closely with teams, providing guidance through direct observation, consultation, and constructive feedback.
  • You will oversee the timely review of quality parameters against agreed goals and processes.
  • You will support Operations & Maintenance teams in preparing method statements, workflows, and quality documentation.
  • You will lead CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) management, ensuring accurate maintenance of the CAPA register.
  • You will track, monitor, and report project quality metrics, identifying systemic issues and implementing solutions.
  • You will organize and lead review meetings with stakeholders to address quality performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
