Overview

Manage the MEP design review and the site inspection for all shops and kiosks during their design and fit-out stages to ensure compliance of designs with the Mall MEP Manual and the Egyptian Code; and proper achievement of their brand vision and review all required changes from leasing, development & Tenants.

This post forms part of the Tenant Coordination Team within the Mall Management.

What you will do
  • Negotiate with tenants' designers their designs during the design review phase.
  • Monitor the tenant's contractors fit-out progress versus their approved designs and submitted time schedule.
  • Provide technical support and MEP solutions required for tenants during the design and fit-out process.
  • Support the tenant coordinators in all MEP technicalities and how to monitor the tenant contractors in relation with the Mall MEP requirements.
  • Study and review all required changes from leasing, development & Tenants.
  • Resolve snags when inspecting fit-out work on site and produce a snag list within days of shop opening.
Job-Specific Skills
  • Arabic and English proficiency is a must.
  • Professional skills in AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of project management skills.
  • Awareness of NFPA code.

Overview of the role :

To develop and implement the Doha Festival City Marketing Strategy. These strategies should incorporate all stakeholders and cover advertising, PR, Event Management & Customer Service at the appropriate phase of the Mall development cycle to ensure effective reach to the target audience and maximization of the Mall brand positioning.

Doha Festival City needs a dedicated Associate Direct-Marketing to drive the Marketing Strategy through the business to business and the business to consumer phases of the development to drive market awareness to the brand and maximize. Footfall and sales performance post opening.

What you will do :

  • Marketing strategy planning and budgets / Media & Advertising plans - sets yearly strategies and plans for each stage of the mall development
  • Develop a marketing plan for the mall opening, covering resources, procurement, stakeholder management, footfall sales objectives and opening event plan. Proactive consultant and contractor management to deliver the outcomes.
  • Communication - communicates with key stakeholders including owners, retailers, shoppers and the industry during the Mall development.
  • Market Research & Intelligence - ensures that competitor research on like properties in UAE and GCC is accounted for, together with general real estate news that could impact on brand (leasing / retail / development / RERA / government regulations updates etc). Market research to determine requirements for new business
  • Website / Online Digital Activation - Ensures at all times that the DFC website is up to date, takes into account new technologies & trends and builds the strategy
  • Public Relations - working together with the PR Manager to promote and create newsworthy items to increase the AVE and awareness of DFC within the media
  • Measurement - ensure all marketing activities are measured against pre-set objectives.

    This role forms part of the Tenant Coordination Team within Mall Management.

    What You Will Do
    • Manage the MEP design review and the site inspection for all shops and kiosks during design and fit-out stages to ensure compliance with the Mall MEP Manual and the Egyptian Code, and alignment with brand vision; review all required changes from leasing, development and tenants.
    • Negotiate with tenants’ designers during the design review phase.
    • Monitor tenants’ contractors’ fit-out progress against approved designs and the submitted schedule.
    • Provide technical support and MEP solutions required for tenants during the design and fit-out process.
    • Support tenant coordinators in all MEP technicalities and how to monitor tenant contractors in relation to Mall MEP requirements.
    • Study and review all required changes from leasing, development and tenants.
    • Resolve snags when inspecting fit-out work on site and produce a snag list within days of shop opening.
    Job-Specific Skills
    • Arabic and English proficiency is a must.
    • Professional skills in AutoCAD.
    • Understanding of project management skills.
    • Awareness of NFPA code.
    Behavioral Competencies
    • Ability to work under high pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Highly committed to the company’s code of ethics.
    What Equips You For The Role

    Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: B. Sc. in Engineering (Mechanics)

    Minimum Experience: 3–5 years of mechanics experience with at least 2 years in Retail Design & Review, with site supervision experience and ability to produce snag lists for final inspections.

    Overview of the role :

    To develop and implement the Doha Festival City Marketing Strategy. These strategies should incorporate all stakeholders and cover advertising, PR, Event Management & Customer Service at the appropriate phase of the Mall development cycle to ensure effective reach to the target audience and maximization of the Mall brand positioning.

    Doha Festival City needs a dedicated Associate Direct-Marketing to drive the Marketing Strategy through the business to business and the business to consumer phases of the development to drive market awareness to the brand and maximize. Footfall and sales performance post opening.

    What you will do :

    • Marketing strategy planning and budgets / Media & Advertising plans – sets yearly strategies and plans for each stage of the mall development
    • Develop a marketing plan for the mall opening, covering resources, procurement, stakeholder management, footfall sales objectives and opening event plan. Proactive consultant and contractor management to deliver the outcomes.
    • Communication – communicates with key stakeholders including owners, retailers, shoppers and the industry during the Mall development.
    • Market Research & Intelligence – ensures that competitor research on like properties in UAE and GCC is accounted for, together with general real estate news that could impact on brand (leasing / retail / development / RERA / government regulations updates etc). Market research to determine requirements for new business
    • Website / Online Digital Activation – Ensures at all times that the DFC website is up to date, takes into account new technologies & trends and builds the strategy
    • Public Relations – working together with the PR Manager to promote and create newsworthy items to increase the AVE and awareness of DFC within the media
    • Measurement – ensure all marketing activities are measured against pre-set objectives.
