Job Description

e are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong background in Civil Maintenance and working knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of all civil infrastructure, buildings, and related services across our facilities, while coordinating with MEP teams to ensure full operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, supervise, and execute all civil maintenance activities including structural repairs, waterproofing, masonry, concrete, painting, finishes, external cladding, façade systems, structural repairs, waterproofing, concrete, and finishing works.
  • Manage and support day-to-day maintenance of MEP systems in coordination with the technical teams.
  • Lead and develop a team of civil and MEP technicians to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are adhered to.
  • Inspect facilities regularly to identify civil issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and vendors for outsourced maintenance services and project works.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and project reports.
  • Implement energy-efficient and cost-effective maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure health and safety practices are followed in all maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years' experience in facility or building maintenance, with a strong emphasis on civil works.
  • Strong background in Civil Maintenance

Main Purpose

The Deputy Maintenance Manager will provide support to the Project Manager to develop, manage and deliver various projects safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality expectations of FMM and the client management team. Accountabilities
  • Responsible for helping the actual project management team in QFZ to deliver functional goals, including operational uptime, compliance, financial and people development in all the projects under QFZ umbrella and the new ones assigned.
  • To take overall responsibility for the work of all personnel employed by the service provider and subcontracted for the execution of the contracts and providing them with the necessary materials and information to enable them to carry out their duties.
  • Realize pursuit of the satisfaction of the clients, solving possible incidents and detecting new business opportunities for the already employed services or for the new ones that may be required.
  • To attend periodic meetings with the clients' representatives and/or their representatives to discuss and appraise the performance of the contract.
  • Support the current project team in the creation of new proposals for tender or organic growth.

Qualification

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 10 years' experience in FM services, including MEP and HVAC systems.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Understanding of CAFM systems.
  • Understand design specifications and technical drawings.

Preferred

GCC experience.

Job Purpose:

To undertake all necessary actions to ensure that the gas supply is working efficiently. To develop and implement necessary procedures to ensure efficient Operations and Maintenance of Gas Plants and Distribution Networks. To ensure fulfilling all the requirements and KPI's as per Gas Concession Agreement. To manage Gas O&M department including the team and all associated activities.

Operations:

  • Manage and direct all SNG Plant and Gas Distribution Network processes and operations in a safe and efficient manner to meet daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets and specifications.
  • Ensure visual inspection of pipework and all equipment including firefighting system and associated instrumentation, PRS Meter reading, LPG Tank levels and SNG Plant monitoring.
  • Ensure calibration of pressure and temperature sensors for EVC calibration of all gauges at the plant.
  • Review and issue NOC to the other utilities intending to work in the vicinity of the gas network.
  • Produce and implement a Quality Assurance Plan to ensure that inspection and testing of the gas distribution services is carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions.
  • Promote application of innovative technologies, improvements, and development of infrastructures & facilities.
  • Investigate and analyze incidents, determine implications, action claims and carry out corrective action. Act proactively rather than reactively where possible.

Maintenance:

  • Approve and manage all the outsourced Maintenance contracts for SNG Farms and Gas Distribution Networks.
  • Approve and manage all planned and routine maintenance of all plants and related ancillaries. Always ensure continuous operations of facilities and equipment and establish necessary procedures and actions to be taken as remedial steps according to established company policies and international standards.
  • Ensure periodic maintenance of the gas network including functional checks of critical equipment at SNG/LPG plants.
  • Maintain an accurate description and ongoing account of SNG/LPG YARD operations, ensure preventive maintenance records in place to provide accurate documentation of maintenance work or repairs that have been done on the equipment / systems.
  • Ensuring effective emergency response and contingency plans are in place to handle any operational disruptions or incidents.
  • Coordinate with Operation and Maintenance staff and external contractors to carry out necessary repairs and upgrades works and to resolve escalated/critical issues, ensuring timely achievement of production objectives while minimizing financial losses.
  • Collaborating with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, suppliers, contractors, and customers, to ensure smooth operations and customer's satisfaction.
  • Ensure that APM inspections are carried out in a timely and efficient manner and that SNG/LPG yard is annually inspected, tested, and certified.
  • Effectively control the material management process, ensuring that spares and consumables are available while avoiding stock write-offs and minimizing slow moving stock

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Master's degree is preferred.

Minimum Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in O&M of city gas distribution systems with gas distribution utilities / contractors, with at least 5 years in managerial roles
