About the roleThis position is for a Field Technician in Aftermarket and Service, reporting to the Service Supervisor. Responsibilities include installing, testing, servicing, and repairing equipment to meet company specifications and customer requirements. You will perform daily tasks assigned by your supervisor, including maintenance contracts, repairs, and warranty jobs. You will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish tasks as instructed.
Key Responsibilities :As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for :
- Receiving daily job schedules from the Service Supervisor and executing them promptly.
- Completing jobs within the budgeted man-hours.
- Using SYCLO devices to generate and deliver time confirmations, job cards, and EH&S site surveys.
- Meeting assigned SOIP targets such as revenue, utilization, GM, callback rate, EH&S, and MFA.
- Executing assigned jobs efficiently.
- Assisting Senior Technicians on jobs as needed.
- Reporting escalated problems and spare parts requirements to the Supervisor.
- Installing spare parts during service calls.
- Attending EH&S training and following safety guidelines.
- Using the correct tools and PPEs appropriately, inspecting equipment, and informing Supervisors of issues.

Accountabilities
- Lead in equipment installation, maintenance and repairs

- Previous Experience with Cummins/Iveco/Scania Diesel Generator engines
- Must hold an official Mechanical and Electrical trade qualification from a recognized organization
- Proficiency with generator controllers including PCC 2100, PCC 3100, PCC 3200, PCC 3300 and DSE 8000 series, with training certificates from courses attended in programming
- Demonstrated track record in rebuilding Cummins engines, including KTA50, KTA38, KSQ23, QSX15, QSG12, NTA855, QSL9, 6BTA, and 4BTA
- Capability to assess power demand according to production needs
- Accredited high voltage qualification from a recognized organization
- Completion of high voltage switching courses
- Familiarity with the generator load testing process
- Minimum 5 years of experience relevant role or related field
- Dealer experience (Cummins and Caterpillar)
- Previous experience in the rental industry
- Prior experience working with diesel generator power plants

Client has around 1000 administrative users who operate Endpoints situated across various locations, including 15 remote sites and the headquarters (HQ). Approximately 70% of these users are based at the Client HQ, while the remaining users are dispersed among depots and bus stations. The users predominantly utilize Windows as their primary operating system, although some utilize other operating systems. They also rely on Microsoft Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word, along with third-party software.
Scope of Work
Service provider to extend Client Technical support team by three (3) skilled technical engineers to handle the daily tasks.
Scope :
1. Layer 1 and layer 2 support for users and endpoints
2. Setup and maintain any required software on users computers or any peripherals.
3. Solving and troubleshooting Network issues.
4. Record any incident or service requests on Client ServiceDesk system.
5. Supporting our users to secure and save their data.
6. List and record Client Endpoints such as computers, IP Phones, Laptops and printers on asset management system.
7. Ensure that endpoints have the latest updates and security software installed on it.
8. Setup and troubleshoot IOT devices on Client Fleet.
9. Create and report incidents related to security or any abnormal user / s or computer / s behaviour.
10. Managing file and print servers and applying users permissions.
11. Create and maintain Knowledgebase, (Technical guides, instructions, configuration steps).
12. Ensure that all security measurements applied on all endpoints
Experience and skills

Experience in different Operating systems for Mobile, computers, and terminals
