The **Reporting Analyst** is responsible for reviewing and analysing data from components, systems and sub-systems in order to obtain a true end-to-end service achievement. You will also identify trends and establish if they are positive or negative. This information is then used to present the data.
Reporting Analyst is also responsible for conducting full lifecycle activities to include identification of requirements, defining analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
- Consolidation of data from multiple sources
- Production of trends and feedback on the trends such as whether the trends are positive or negative, what their impact is likely to be, and if they are predictable for the future
- Production of reports on service or system performance based on the negotiated OLAs and SLAs and improvement initiatives
- Interpretation of data, analysis of results using statistical techniques and provision of ongoing reports
- Identification of requirements for data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
- Identification, analysis, and interpretation of trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filteration and “cleaning” of data, and review of computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
- Working closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:
- Proven working experience as a data analyst, ideally 5+ years of experience
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in a Managed Service Provider organisation
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (Qlik, Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), programming (JavaScript or VBA)
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
- ITIL Foundation or ISO/IEC 2000 Foundation will be a plus
- Articulateness - both written (e.g. for reports) and verbal
- Information Acquisition - Identifying gaps in the available information required to understand a problem or situation and devising means of remedying gaps.
- Initiative Being proactive, taking action and anticipating opportunities.

**About this role**

- Knowledge and observance of Company HSE policy, rules, and procedures.
- Ensure all activities and work under the responsibility of the Finance division are performed with an Incident Free mindset. Cash Management & Reporting:
- Prepare the Fixed Deposit forecasts, proposals, recommendations, and reporting.
- Negotiate Interest rates with approved banks to ensure optimum cash management.
- Conduct the vendor payments analysis on a monthly basis to ensure the cash forecasts accuracy
- Analyze the root cause of pending payments and coordinate the resolution of the aged items.
- Prepare the Shareholders Cash Distribution forecast & analysis in coordination with FP to accurately estimate the Advances to Shareholders (per the Cash Advance Agreement) and coordinate the payments entries with GA.
- Prepare and present the Treasury dashboard and performance metrics
- Liaise and resolve issues regarding banking activities and corporate credit cards together with relevant internal departments. Cash Forecasting & Analysis:
- Prepare the short-term cash forecasts in collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., Financial Planning, Cost Control, C&P, MP, and HR) to estimate COMPANY cash requirements and the closing cash position (MCB).
- Conduct the variance analysis on the short-term cash flow forecast
- Analyze & report the expected cash requirements based on information from SAP and inputs from other departments.
- Prepare the Cash Analysis Reports ITD/YTD (Cash Evolution, weekly/monthly performance & trends) to identify and recommend remedies and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and update the Daily Cash Balances Report, monitor the funds' movement to ensure the Minimum Cash Balance (MCB) is maintained in a day-by-day basis.
- Consult financial literature to analyze financial data, industry trends and best practices, e.g., Interest rates, foreign exchange rates (FX), Commodity market, e.g., Crude Oil Prices.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the Finance Integrated Dashboard and information systems
- Conduct analyses to quantify and assess risk to business operations, using statistical analysis tools and the COMPANY risks model, e.g., Interest rate / FX risk. Policies & Procedures
- Assists in the development and update of all Treasury related policies & procedures, ensuring that they meet accounting best practices, statutory requirements and changing business requirements,
- Compliance with COMPANY Governance framework and documents, e.g., DFA, JVA, Escrow a/c & CAA agreements,
- Continuously seeks to optimize areas within Treasury. Other
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Lead, Treasury.

About The Role
As the Senior Cargo Operational Performance Reporting Analyst , you will lead, develop, review and re-build operational reporting to ensure visibility of key metrics. You will provide analysis of operational indicators and operational business performance to the operations management team. Collaborate with the procedures team for process reviews, identify trends and provide data driven insights. Additionally, you will assess operational issues and recommend solutions or process improvements.
Some Of The Tasks Include The Following:
- Handling overall responsibility for operational reporting, data storage, KPI’s and process improvements.
- Accountable for providing analysis on key metrics and reasoning for changes in operational performance and take feedback from internal and external teams in order to identify gaps in processes and methodologies. Initiate improvements that enhance revenue and decision making
- Engage team to ensure creation and maintenance of well-defined station and market information documents and drive to create efficiencies through easy access, sharing and handover of data, reports and processes.
- To Lead business process reengineering of documented quality and operational strategies covering special commodities, ULDs, messaging and other operational KPIs.
- Develop key reports to for operational areas including Special Products teams, Quality, Operations, ULD Control, Dangerous Goods and to the Ops management team.
- Responsibility for monitoring CiQ metrics for Freight forwarders and GHAs in a timely manner.
- To develop outputs relevant to key stakeholders and user-friendly formats for senior management, customers, suppliers and other external parties.
- Perform other department duties as directed by Line Manager of Head of the Department.

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management or any related field)
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a role involving cargo management systems, airline operations software and performance reporting tools
- Advanced data analytics and performance monitoring expertise (SQL, Power BI/Tableau and Cargo Management Systems
- Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset with ability to identify issues early and implement solutions independently.
