Job Description
Carry out appropriate reservoir engineering analysis and studies to ensure that
reservoirs are being developed and managed in the most optimum manner. Review
and update existing reservoir models based on new data and if required construct
suitable new models with available data. Ensure that sufficient and reliable data on
reservoir characteristics and performance is obtained and analysed to improve
reservoir characterization. Estimate hydrocarbons in place, forecast reservoir
behaviour and serve as a basis for special studies and programmes designed to
maximise oil recovery in assigned reservoirs. Identifies reservoirs requiring study and
participates in such studies involving close liaison with specialists in other disciplines
(e.g. Geologists, Petrophysicists) and the running of computerised simulation models
to process and analyse required data. Updates reservoir and well-files and data bases
and advises PSA operators of required tests, test intervals and test sample acquisition
methods.
Required Experience and Skills
Preferable 8 years experience including 1-2 years at well site in a leading operating
oil company as a Reservoir Engineer in all aspects of reservoir development
including testing, modeling, sampling and related areas.
Works according to specialized technical and professional standards with
considerable latitude in devising method or approach to particular studies and
problems. Work assignments are subject to general review and direction by
supervisor.
- Produces high quality "fit-for-purpose" deficiency free work. Through the quality of
the work, establish a high degree of trust between the different disciplines of the
team.
- Required to have a broad theoretical and practical knowledge within his discipline
and have a working knowledge of the other technical disciplines within his team.

- Ensure HSE policies are followed and understood within the team and with every activity/operation required by the Asset especially reservoir related;
- Responsible for day to day well performance monitoring, well test requirements, well potential updates;
- Implement and validate the reservoir engineering techniques linked to its activity (planning, evaluation and interpretation of well tests, interpretation of PLT, decline curve analysis, material balance, production nodal analysis, definition of production mechanisms, prediction of production performance and injection, PVT analysis, etc.);

- Provide validated relevant data (production profiles) to be used for economic evaluation of each project/well/study;
- Ensure the good integration between the other disciplines (geophysics, geology, production technology and geo-information) to evaluate uncertainties associated with a project/well/study (1P, 2P, 3P) and implement the necessary studies (experimental design,. );
- Propose the reservoir data acquisitions programs (fluids, conventional and SCAL, well testing, logs, cores,.) to characterize and predict reservoir behavior and reduce the uncertainties;
- Ensures compliance with costs, deadlines and objectives;
- Guarantee the Reservoir Surveillance Plan and Reservoir Management Plan for the Asset as per COMPANY Standards;

- Active contribution to development of internal and external communications within the Reservoir and PE community.
**What you need to bring**
- Master Degree or Bachelor Degree with relevant industry experience in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering discipline or other relevant technical discipline qualification;
