Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar safety role, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
- Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, OSHA 30, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with risk assessment tools and incident investigation methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lead Technical Safety Engineer will be responsible for:
- Provide integrity assurance of Process designs through appropriate application of Shell technical standards and specifications, implementation of DCAF and review of design deliverables and activities.
- Ensure schedule and cost considerations are included in design decisions, while maintaining primary responsibility to assure safe and appropriate quality designs.
- Ensure repeated delivery of projects with HSSE & SP risks demonstrably managed to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP), creating a workplace without harm.
- Ensure Technical HSE Engineering activities are executed in alignment with Shell's Project Delivery Roadmap and Opportunity Realization Process.
- Validate strategies/conceptual designs during early project phases.
- Support COMPANY in auditing construction field activities for compliance and assist in resolution of field non‐conformance issues as required.
- Ensure design meets requirements of Shell's HSSE Framework.
