Job Description

About The Role

Undertake all cash desk sales activities in the shop and provide the best possible customer service in order to maximize sales opportunities within Qatar Duty Free Company retail shops

Responsibilities

  • Process card and cash transactions on the POS in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Follow the Security Tamper Evident Bag (STEB) procedure to correctly pack items.
  • Scan QDFC products correctly at POS machines.
  • Sell push lines items at the POS.
  • Serve customers at the POS with kindness and respect.
  • Keep the POS area neat and tidy.
  • Answer basic questions from customers on products or provide any other general information about QDF stores or airport amenities.
  • Carry out the end-of-shift cash closing steps. Put cash in the cash bag, seal the cash bag and submit to the cash office in HIA.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

  • Ensure the highest level of confidentiality with regards to all company documentation, information and statistics.
  • Ensure that a high degree of security on stock and cash prevails at all times. Ensure that Supervisor/ Brand Manager/ QDF Security are immediately notified of any breach of security as per the Security SOP for Brands and Boutiques.
  • Ensure awareness f the HOT SPOT of Theft- Prone Areas. When showing items, be prepared with display pads/ trays, cleaning cloth, pens, calculator and any other tools to avoid the need to step away. Pay attention to each customer and to each piece of item being shown.
  • Ensure the float is correct and that all keyed information into the POS terminal is done so accurately.
  • Process customer’s transactions efficiently and must present the receipts at all times to customers.
  • Handle money/ Traveller’s Cheques/ Credit Cards and any other form of payment in a safe, secure and responsible manner
  • Responsible for the cash variances at the end of the shift.

  • Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Previous Retail and Customer Service experience

  • Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience

Retail Sales Associate Vacancy in Al-Rayyan, Qatar

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Al-Rayyan. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting products, and completing sales transactions. Responsibilities:
  1. Greet customers and assist with product inquiries

Requirements:

Working Conditions:
