Overview of the role:

The Fashion Consultant is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience, along with a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team.

What you will do:

Store Safety

• Maintain a clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness.
• Create a positive first impression for customers through an energetic attitude and appropriate dress code.
• Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and a sincere greeting.
• Provide customers with current and relevant product information.
• Thank all customers sincerely as they exit and invite them to return.

Quality

• Offer quality service in fitting rooms, follow up promptly, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to increase sales.

Administrative

• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, maintain cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.

Required Skills to be successful

• Extensive experience in sales, marketing, and operations within the retail/brand management industry, specifically in fashion.
• Deep knowledge of the market, brand positioning, and trends.
• Understanding of current economic impacts, potential threats, and competitors.

What equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualification and Knowledge:

High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum 2 years of retail sales experience.

Job-Specific/Technical Skills required:

• Ability to perform some heavy lifting.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
• Strong customer service skills.

POSITION OBJECTIVE - The position is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience. It also involves performing various operational duties such as store maintenance and visual presentation standards as assigned by the store manager or assistant store manager.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service :

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right product.
• Convert window shoppers into buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
• Serve customers following the company's selling guidelines (GUEST - Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
• Stay updated about the various brands of the group for suggestive selling, grooming, attitude, and knowledge.
• Maintain a presentable and well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Be flexible to work extended hours during sale periods.
• Possess up-to-date product knowledge and ensure minimal stock loss.
• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed attractively and according to standard layout norms.
• Follow Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines and maintain stock norms, especially during clearance.
• Record inventory inward and outward movements and maintain relevant reports.
• Handle the POS (Point of Sale) and billing efficiently.
• Tally cash in the till at shift start and end.
• Issue receipts, process refunds and change accurately.
• Process payments via cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Maintain vigilance and adhere to security protocols in the store.
• Be flexible to work varied shifts and overtime as required.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Loss Prevention policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales figures and other sensitive information.

Qualifications:

A year's experience in a similar role, within a similar brand preferred.

Local retail experience preferred.
