Job overview
This position will work with the Ooredoo Group Leadership Team, the Opco CEOs and direct reports, the Manager Test Management will be accountable for the successful delivery of ESS Transformation Program. The program aims to implement a unified way of working across Finance, Sourcing and Human Resources with clear roles and responsibilities that eliminates redundancy and promotes efficiency.
The Test Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of SAP implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
The role will ensure a coordinated approach throughout Ooredoo, enabling Ooredoo operations to execute their mandates effectively.
The Manager Test Management will be responsible to deliver end to end testing cycles resulting from new implementations, change management and release cycles.
The role will report into Director IT Enablement and Digital Platforms.

The Test Manager is responsible for the overall, day-to-day management of a specific task order or group of task orders affecting the same or related/interdependent systems.
Schedules and assigns work to contractors and monitors progress and resolves discrepancies to ensure compliance with work/quality standards and contract/task order requirements.
Ensures that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order(s) are implemented within
estimated timeframes and budget constraints. Introduces innovative approaches and methodologies for processes and support systems.
Define Testing Strategy : Develop and implement a test strategy aligned with SAP Activate methodology and project goals.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals.
- Define scope, objectives, and timelines for testing phases (SIT, UAT, Regression)
Plan & Coordinate Testing Phases : Oversee unit, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Lead end-to-end testing activities across SAP modules (S4hana, SF, Ariba, Integrations etc.,).
- Manage test environments and data preparation.
- Oversee defect tracking, triage meetings, and resolution.
- Create and manage test cases using tools like SAP Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, or Tricentis Tosca etc.,
Defect Tracking & Resolution : Monitor defects, coordinate triage meetings, and ensure timely resolution.
Automation : Drive test automation for regression and critical scenarios using tools like Tosca.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with SAP consultants, developers, and business users across Global footprint of Ooredoo to ensure test coverage and quality.
Experience and Qualifications
- 10 years of Functional Management Experience
- Minimum 5 years in sector industry
- 10+ years of work experience core focusing of testing
- Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
- Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
- Demonstrated experience SAP ERP
- Ability to effectively supervise others and implementation.
- Experience in doing business process analysis, system design and implementation, process design work.
- Understanding of touchpoints with different business cycles like acquire to retire, record to report etc.
- Various aspects of the process like business process controls, reporting requirements, authorization consideration, availability of data are analyzed thoroughly while finalizing the design in the system.
