About the Role :
We are seeking an Account Manager - Business Intelligence to join our expanding team in Doha. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role is focused on growing our client base and strengthening existing relationships in Qatar, with an emphasis on Risk & Compliance and Factiva solutions.
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle-from prospecting new opportunities to retaining and growing existing client accounts. The role requires an in-depth understanding of compliance regulations in the region and the ability to position Dow Jones solutions strategically to meet client needs.
You Will :
Grow Business Intelligence revenue in Qatar through new business acquisition and by upselling within the existing client base
Retain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring our solutions support their ongoing compliance and intelligence needs
Manage the end-to-end account lifecycle, including pipeline tracking, forecasting, and post-sale client engagement
Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Product, Implementation, Editorial, and Marketing to support client success and drive strategic opportunities
Contribute to strategic discussions around market positioning, client needs, and product direction
You Have :
4+ years of experience in sales, ideally to financial institutions or government entities in Qatar
Strong understanding of compliance regulations and the regional risk and compliance landscape
Proven track record of selling information services, compliance tools, or enterprise SaaS solutions
Fluency in Arabic and English is required
Experience working with senior decision-makers and navigating complex B2B sales cycles
Familiarity with clients in the Risk & Compliance or Business Intelligence sectors, and the ability to speak knowledgeably about industry pain points.

• Solution Presentation: Prepare and deliver effective client presentations to stakeholders, including C-Suite executives, to ensure alignment and client satisfaction.
• Account Growth: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, manage the entire sales cycle, and aim to exceed quota targets.
• Technical Knowledge & Support: Gain a comprehensive understanding of company IT solutions and services, translating technical information into value propositions for clients.
• Collaborative Project Management: Work with internal teams across procurement, finance, and operations to ensure timely execution of projects and accurate delivery of solutions.
• Reporting & Analysis: Use CRM tools to track account activities, generate reports, and analyze market conditions to improve service quality and identify competitive opportunities.
• Client Success & Satisfaction: Leverage client feedback to improve services, and proactively address any issues to prevent escalation.
• Industry Networking: Attend events and maintain a market presence to generate leads and strengthen client relations.
• Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high standards of service by adhering to organizational protocols and responding effectively to client needs.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in the Qatari market; B2C experience is a plus.
• Proven success in selling customized IT solutions and consistently meeting quotas and deadlines.
• Strong client relationship management, communication, and technical sales skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, proposal development, and project management tools.
