About the position

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our expanding team to support our infrastructure, including CRM and cluster systems.

Responsibilities
  • CI/CD: Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of applications and updates on GCP (GKE)
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Working with developers to improve the deployment and monitoring processes of applications in the cloud
  • Process Automation: Creating and implementing automated processes for deployment and management of infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Configuration Management: Setting up and maintaining configuration management processes to ensure infrastructure stability and security, including automatic application of changes and versioning of infrastructure
  • Infrastructure Development and Support: Designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure in GCP, including resource management and configuration
  • Release Engineering: Managing build and release processes, including creating and optimizing workflows for releases, managing dependencies, and ensuring release stability at all stage
Requirements
  • Experience with GCP: Hands-on experience with core Google Cloud services, including Compute Engine, GKE, IAM, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud Functions, and others
  • Containerization Knowledge: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Automation Tools: Experience with infrastructure management tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • CI/CD Experience: Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or others
  • Monitoring and Logging Knowledge: Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana

Summary
This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and hybrid systems in alignment with national cybersecurity and digital readiness standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and manage hybrid cloud infrastructure (Azure/VMware), aligned with QCD/MICT policies
  • Lead system architecture, implementation, upgrades, and security hardening
  • Ensure alignment with NIA and CSF controls for infrastructure readiness
  • Integrate BCP/DR solutions with approved government hosting providers
  • Govern PaaS/IaaS provisioning, automation, and resource monitoring
  • Manage servers, firewalls, backup systems, and endpoint management tools
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity function to ensure zero-trust architecture
  • Support business applications and systems in coordination with the IT Manager

Ideal Candidate Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles with hybrid environment exposure
  • Strong experience in Azure, virtualization, Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP services
  • Hands-on knowledge of storage, backup, and recovery technologies
  • Experience aligning infrastructure with NIA/CSF requirements
  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure, VMware, or Cisco highly desirable
  • Ability to document and optimize system architecture and deployment workflows
