A prestigious client in Qatar is hiring Finance Officers on 6 month contract (extension is as per project scope)
- Develop financial models and conduct analysis using a broad range of qualitative tools and techniques.
- Conduct ad hoc revenue and cost analysis for Finance senior management
- Identify and develop in conjunction with business KPIs and report them on a regular basis
- Review business case proposals generating incremental revenues or cost reduction
- Prepare root-cause variance analysis reporting to management

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Process trade finance transactions including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Bills for Collection, and Export/Import financing.
  • Validate trade documents for accuracy and compliance with terms and international guidelines (UCP 600, URC, ISBP, URDG ).
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar Central Bank regulations , bank policies, and Islamic banking standards.
  • Coordinate with corporate clients, relationship managers, and correspondent banks to resolve trade finance queries.
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports, records, and transaction files .
  • Assist in audits and ensure complete documentation for regulatory review.
  • Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and service excellence in trade operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education : Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience : 2-4 years of experience in trade finance operations within a bank .
  • Strong knowledge of trade finance products (LCs, Guarantees, Collections, Bills).
  • Understanding of international trade rules : UCP 600, URC 522, ISBP, URDG 758.
  • Languages : Bilingual proficiency (Arabic & English) preferred.
  • Exposure to core banking systems in GCC banks is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail, strong compliance mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
