Roles and Responsibilities
- Process trade finance transactions including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, Bills for Collection, and Export/Import financing.
- Validate trade documents for accuracy and compliance with terms and international guidelines (UCP 600, URC, ISBP, URDG ).
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Central Bank regulations , bank policies, and Islamic banking standards.
- Coordinate with corporate clients, relationship managers, and correspondent banks to resolve trade finance queries.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, records, and transaction files .
- Assist in audits and ensure complete documentation for regulatory review.
- Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and service excellence in trade operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education : Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience : 2-4 years of experience in trade finance operations within a bank .
- Strong knowledge of trade finance products (LCs, Guarantees, Collections, Bills).
- Understanding of international trade rules : UCP 600, URC 522, ISBP, URDG 758.
- Languages : Bilingual proficiency (Arabic & English) preferred.
- Exposure to core banking systems in GCC banks is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, strong compliance mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
