Job Description
As the Senior Finance Officer - Oracle Systems, you will be responsible for overseeing all Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems modules to ensure the stability of the system. He will troubleshoot and interact with ERP users of Qatar Airways & Subsidiaries. He will ensure that appropriate process & controls are introduced to proactively manage different issues which could rise later.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for functional overseeing of Oracle E-Business suite specifically GL, AP, AR, FA, PO & INV modules.
- Support and Train users in effectively using of all ERP Financial Modules.
- Ensure ERP (GL, AP, AR, FA, PO & INV) period closing activities for Qatar Airways & Subsidiaries are successfully completed as per targets.
- Ensure data integrity of Oracle ERP, from end user perspective and data from various sources.
- Business support for IT projects to provide functional inputs to IT on process/functional improvements and report/interface developments.
- Coordinate with Oracle (SR) & IT to resolve issues.
- Work with IT to develop of new reports, enhancement of existing reports & maintenance.
- Other general system related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
About you
- You will possess:_
Essential
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Degree in Accounting.
Preferred
- Oracle Certification in GL, AP, AR, GL, FA, PO, INV is preferred
- Previous Experience:_
Essential
- Specialist - minimum 5 years of job-related experience required
- 8 Years of total experience out of which 4 years worked as super user on ERP packages in finance support environment & 2 years in Finance.
Preferred
- From Airline Industry.
- Job Specific Skills:_
- Super user level knowledge & experience of Oracle ERP systems.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Good Judgment and problem solving
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task assignments.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information & records.
