Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager for Legal & Finance. Your role is to review and negotiate major contracts, including technical contracts, aircraft purchase agreements, aircraft sale and leaseback agreements, and financing transactions. Ensure strategies align with work processes, company policies, and best practices to achieve high-quality performance in accordance with organizational and departmental standards. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of legal specialists.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing strategies, processes, and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure beneficial contractual relations.
- Negotiating, drafting, and implementing complex, multiparty agreements, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances.
- Overseeing the contract process from receipt of requests to signature and distribution, including preparation, review, negotiation, and approval of contractual documents related to aircraft and technical contracts.
- Establishing departmental objectives and priorities aligned with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Qualified and admitted lawyer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in aircraft purchase contracts, sale, leaseback, loan agreements, and financing transactions.
- Experience at an executive management level.
- Proven track record of negotiating complex, high-profile, high-value contracts.
- Strong background in finance and technical understanding of aircraft engines.
- Experience with MRO agreements, Ground Handling agreements, and Fleet Management.
- Ideally from a manufacturing background.
Compensation:
- 34,000-40,000 QAR per month, depending on experience.
- Company accommodation or allowance.
- Full medical coverage.
- One annual flight and unlimited ID50 & ID90 flights.
- Education allowance for up to three children.
- 30 days annual leave.
