About the role

CostandFleetAirworthiness

• Forecasts maintenance requirements and plan for accomplishment in a timely and cost-effective manner, and in strict compliance to aircraft airworthiness regulations. (Cost and Airworthiness aspect)
• Ensures that the Line component staggering plan is properly implemented and regularly monitored in order to avoid Loan/Exchange costs. (Cost Aspect)
• Proper staggering plan will also avoid raising a variation (Quality/Airworthiness aspect)
• Ensures that the TRAX/CAMP/CMP system transactions are done on a timely basis in order to have a clear maintenance forecast (Quality/Airworthiness aspect).
• Ensures that technical queries related to the work package are resolved in a timely manner in order to avoid anv flight schedule disruptions (Cost aspect).

PersonalDevelopment

• Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise.
• Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
• Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.

As the Community Planner , you will be responsible for developing solutions for US Air Force Base community planning tasks which may include comprehensive planning, transportation, capital improvements, infrastructure, Maintenance, Engineering, fiscal analysis, public policy, and site planning/analysis. Work with a team of engineers, designers, and surveyors to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Formulate, plan, develop, and implement techniques and broad strategies to conduct the comprehensive planning process.
• Assist in preparing conceptual studies and sketches that indicate pertinent design features, material, equipment, and specifications.
• Responsible for providing project siting recommendations and validate new project requirements against the Installation Development Plan and manage the supporting sub-component plans within.
• Shall enter data describing existing and new facilities into Base Real Property Inventory records each week.
• Shall be responsible for making space request recommendations and maintaining an accurate database of space and list of occupancy.
• Responsible for following a comprehensive quality and safety program in compliance with RMS, OSHA, and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.
• Responsible for following a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
• Responsible for proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor provided property (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment, and tools).
• Responsible for precise execution of company time reporting procedures and accurate completion of timesheet.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Community Planning, Urban Affairs, or Architecture, or a degree in Engineering with experience in the community planning field, preferred.
• 3 years of experience in the community planning and landscape architect field; community planning or general planning is preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, codes, regulations, and quality standards.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Project.
• Proficient with AutoCAD 2012 or later versions.

Task and Responsibilities:

• Prefab and Shop component planning in line with Project requirement.
• Support time office efforts to gather actual manhours spent in fabrication yard.
• Workstation wise planning, monitor progress and productivity by Component being fabricated in Shop
• Ensure effective communication of schedule sensitivities, concerns, potential schedule threats, outcomes of Shop schedule performance analysis, critical and sub critical path impacts etc., on timely basis to all related stakeholders and decision makers in project planners and yard Planning lead.
• Maintain integrated fabrication plan with all booked works and ensure that the fabrication workload is within the Shop capacity. Support and provide guidance in resolving concerns and I developing mitigation plan.

Skills:

• Proven proficiency to use Primavera/excel planning Software Extensive Leadership experience in fabrication planning.
• Fabrication experience in Onshore/Offshore

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules that detail tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams on site and other relevant professionals.
