The position will support faculty in the Biological Sciences Program in preparing a new bioethics module for an advanced biotechnology undergraduate course. Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will contribute to material preparation and characterization of diverse quantum materials, encompassing transition metal dichalcogenides, innovative superconductors, and two-dimensional ferromagnets. Emphasis will be placed on investigating phase transitions within these materials, as they can be manipulated by external parameters. Special attention will be given to quantum materials with relevance to energy applications, such as superconductors and magnetic materials. Specifically, the prospective candidate will play a key role in advancing research to identify new materials and explore innovative methods to enhance superconducting performance, pushing the boundaries of current technology.
