Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain advanced marine electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair navigation systems, marine generators, hydraulics, stabilizers, water makers, A/C, and refrigeration systems.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs for luxury yachts and other marine projects.
• Supervise and train technical teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Coordinate with classification societies and ensure compliance with marine standards.

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering (Marine specialization preferred).
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in marine electrical engineering, preferably in luxury yacht maintenance and service.
• Hands-on experience with Raymarine, Furuno, Garmin, Kohler, Fischer Panda, and other marine systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent communication in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Valid GCC or International Driving License is an advantage.

Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Contributing to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations.
• Ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.
• Taking actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customer and other ABB teams.
• Coaching technicians and engineers and supervising complex site activities.

Qualifications

• You are a graduate Engineer in Electrical, Electronic or instrumentation Engineering
• You have a minimum of 8 years of as Senior Field Services Engineer with experience in System and solutions 800xA with IEC61850, , AC800M, PMS/ELICS/EMCS, engineering, documentation, testing and commissioning experience in oil and gas industry
• You are an analytical thinker, self-starter, resilient and highly adaptable- in line with ABB's latest advance service
• You are skillset in industrial communication protocols like IEC104, Modbus- RTU & TCP, OPC, IEC61131
• You have experience in Industrial networking, network switch configuration
• Experience with ICS Cybersecurity competence is an added advantage

• Having full ability to handle Engineering and Field service works for Protection Relays, Panels modification, Protection logic diagram, GA/LA, Protection/SCS/LCC Schematics, Protection IED's/AVR/Tariff meter Configuration, SCS Signal list, Cable Schedule, IEC61850 signal mapping, etc.
• Support for Production documents (Wiring Table/Label list/Cable Schedule/Interpanel wiring files), CT/VT Adequacy check, Relay setting calculations.

• Experienced in Testing & Commissioning of Protection IED's & associated software configuration (GE MICOM, Multilin, Schneider, Siemens, Hitachi, ABB – some or any), AVR, Tariff meter and Busbar Protection.
• Experienced in Test kits (Omicron & others), and Microsoft office.
• Bachelor's in Electrical engineering or related discipline from a reputed university
• 7 years minimum relevant experience preferably in Protection IED's Configuration & Testing.
• Knowledge of schemes and application of protection relays in electrical networks including HV & EHV systems, and state-of-the-art technologies in substation automation

The PCS7 and Safety Systems Service Engineer is responsible for design, implementation, and commissioning of PCS7 based Control Systems, SIMATIC S7 Safety Systems for a variety of industrial control system applications.

• PCS7, WinCC and STEP 7 programming of control systems
• Fire & Gas systems and Emergency Shutdown Systems design and programming
• Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation and configuration, and documentation
• Installation and configuration/testing work at customer sites
• Ability to develop PCS7 and PLC programs based on reading schematics and interpreting customer specifications
• Ability to troubleshoot control loops and motor wiring
• Industrial instrumentation selection, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting
