It utilizes a Hybrid Energy System (HES), which combines supercapacitors and batteries to power the tram between charging points along the route. Spanning 11 km, the network connects the North and South Campuses of Education City with 19 Siemens Avenio trams, enhancing sustainable mobility in the region.
Today, we are recruiting for a People and Organization Advisor to join our team in Qatar. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the major projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- Address inquiries related to P&O policies, processes, tools, operations, and activities.
- Oversee, support, and ensure the timely execution of onboarding and offboarding processes in coordination with various P&O functional teams and business units.
- Work closely with Regional P&O Business Partners and P&O Expert Teams to ensure alignment between global and local people strategies.
- Effectively balance advisory, consulting, and team collaboration roles to build strong, trusted relationships with country management teams.
- Conduct P&O-related investigations promptly and ensure the closure of all assigned cases and disciplinary actions.
- Promote a culture of safety and well-being, working closely with the EHS team to reinforce best practices.
- Organize team events for employees and assist in communication and marketing initiatives focused on employee well-being.
- Assist in evaluating and updating P&O-related policies to ensure compliance with legal standards and industry best practices.
- Develop a strong understanding of Siemens’ people processes and guide internal stakeholders.
- Support leadership development and internship programs.
- Assist in succession planning and talent development.
- Manage data and documentation handling at the local level.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in People & Organization.
- Experience in the railway industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a good command of the English language.
- Exhibits a high level of intercultural sensitivity and is adept at handling confidential and professional interactions with management.
- A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
