Role Overview
The Site Engineer will manage on-site construction works, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. The role requires strong technical knowledge of Oil & Gas projects, coordination with subcontractors, and compliance with SHES standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site operations.
- Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and QA/QC standards.
- Monitor subcontractors' work and resolve site issues.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
- Enforce HSE policies and conduct toolbox talks.
- Liaise with Project Engineers, HSE, and client representatives.
- Support material requests, inspections, and approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years' experience as a Site Engineer in Oil & Gas projects (Qatar/GCC preferred).
- Strong knowledge of API/ASME standards and construction processes.
- Proficient in MS Office; Navisworks knowledge preferred.
- Certifications: H2S & Confined Space (mandatory).
Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Risk Assessment and Management:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments during both the design and execution phases of a project.
- Identify potential hazards related to working at heights, heavy machinery, electrical systems, hazardous substances, and other construction-specific risks.
- Develop and implement control measures and mitigation strategies to eliminate or reduce identified risks.
- Policy and Procedure Development:
- Develop, review, and update health and safety plans (HSP) and safety files (HSF).
- Formulate and enforce site-specific safety policies, procedures, and safe operational guidelines.
