● Research, evaluate, and recommend international innovation and sustainability frameworks that can be adapted to the Smart City context.
● Design and maintain a Smart City innovation roadmap that aligns with Msheireb Properties' long-term vision and sustainability commitments.
● Identify and propose new business practices, digital technologies, and environmentally friendly processes to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and environmental performance.
● Lead benchmarking exercises against global best practices in sustainable urban development, smart technologies, and green building materials.
● Conceptualize, design, and implement innovation-driven pilot projects and initiatives in areas such as renewable energy, waste management, mobility, IoT, AI, and digital platforms.
● Develop sustainability dashboards and performance metrics in collaboration with Smart City and other relevant departments, ensuring consistent monitoring and reporting of progress.
● Support the development of green standards and certifications for projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with international rating systems (e.g., LEED, WELL, GSAS).
● Facilitate workshops, seminars, and knowledge-sharing sessions to embed a culture of innovation within the organization.
● Partner with internal departments, external technology providers, research institutions, and sustainability experts to co-create smart and sustainable solutions.
● Act as a subject-matter expert and advisor on innovation and sustainability initiatives for executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations.
● Represent Msheireb Properties in industry forums, conferences, and working groups to strengthen its position as a global leader in smart city innovation.
● Conduct ongoing horizon scanning of emerging technologies, materials, and business models with potential applicability to smart cities.
● Analyze the outcomes of operational studies, innovation pilots, and sustainability projects to recommend improvements and scalability options.
● Prepare reports, business cases, and feasibility studies for proposed innovation programs.
● Ensure sustainability and innovation initiatives comply with internal standards, local regulations, and international sustainability frameworks.
● Establish clear governance structures for innovation projects, including KPIs, milestones, and reporting mechanisms.
● Perform all other duties assigned by the Line Manager to meet evolving business requirements.
Education and Skills
● Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities
● Proven track record of driving innovation and sustainability initiatives.

The candidate should have experience in smart home solutions such as lighting control, home networking, CCTV, access control, and automation systems (KNX, Control4, Crestron, or equivalent).
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the smart home automation market in Qatar.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients.
- Conduct site surveys, system design, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate project activities from planning, installation, testing, and commissioning to handover.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

Job Purpose:
The ELV Pre-Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise, solution design, and pre-sales support for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, with a strong focus on Smart Home automation solutions. The role involves collaborating with the sales team, understanding client requirements, preparing proposals, and ensuring technically sound, cost-effective, and innovative solutions are presented to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales team to analyze customer requirements and design ELV and Smart Home solutions (CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Home Automation, Lighting Control, Audio/Video Distribution, IPTV, Intercom, and related systems).
- Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, drawings, and system architectures tailored to customer needs.
- Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase Smart Home solutions to clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Provide pre-sales technical support including product selection, system integration, and solution feasibility studies.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to evaluate new technologies, products, and pricing.
- Assist in tender preparation by reviewing specifications, compliance statements, and technical documentation.

- Hands-on experience with Smart Home technologies such as KNX, Crestron, Control4, Lutron, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer interaction skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving, solution design, and technical documentation skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant design tools.
