Overview:
We are seeking to hire a Civil Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar.
The candidate must have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in Structural Design & Construction.
Fluency in English is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct civil and structural engineering activities throughout all project stages.
Review all project drawings and documents (civil, structural, specifications, calculations, materials) for compliance with scope, standards, and specifications.
Participate in project pre-commissioning, commissioning, and hand-over activities.
Evaluate contract changes/variations, making recommendations based on guidelines and standards.
Review and approve method statements for scope compliance and liaise with contracted organizations to resolve technical issues.
Evaluate technical bid packages and participate in pre-tender meetings and evaluations, submitting reports accordingly.
Lead a team of multidisciplinary engineers to ensure timely delivery of services.
