Job Description
Roles in this level are responsible for design development and services related to the rotating equipment, related packages and auxiliary systems to be integrated into existing industrial process plant in an efficient and systematic manner and according to QAFCO procedures and specifications and to the Company's goals and objectives. Key Accountabilities

- Manage studies and mechanical-rotating-oriented projects as assigned.
- Preparation of technical requisition, stipulation of inspection and testing requirement and documentation.
- Implements innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence.
- Supports Lead Engineer in monitoring quality activities and takes action where required.
- Assist Project Team in project documentation such as proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules.
- Prepare and participate in weekly mechanical discipline meetings, prepare progress reports and follow required checking procedures.
- Review and approve all related technical documents and coordinate with the Lead Engineer.
- Management, technical execution and completion of engineering assigned tasks in the specific mechanical-rotating discipline area. Provide rotating equipment engineering input to conceptual studies, front end engineering and detailed engineering design for petrochemical, refineries and oil & gas facilities including the associated utilities.
- Quality Assurance: Accountable for working within the provisions and guidelines of Quality Assurance systems.
- Safety: Accountable for personal safety, safe working practices. Working knowledge and follow OH & S procedures promoting health, safety and environmental awareness.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage.
Industry Experience
- Candidate shall have vast experience in Oil & Gas sector in GCC
- Candidate must have experience in Detailed Design, FEED in Mechanical Engineering
- Candidate shall have Mechanical engineering knowledge and familiar with Standards/Codes, QP specs.
- Past experience as a Rotating Engineer for Upstream & Midstream Gas Turbines will be an advantage
- Must have good experience with compressors & Pumps

Purpose
You will provide process engineering services on large or mega projects to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the process engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Ensures recognized engineering practices applicable to HVAC design engineering are adopted within the discipline.
- Review designs, sketches and reports with supporting calculations for projects, and supply drafting staff with information to assist in the production of detailed drawings, the development of quantities, materials lists and cost estimates as required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, load calculations, equipment selection, energy modeling, and relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, HAP, Duct and Pipe Design).
- Meet minimum requirement of Technical Authority level – 2.
- Ensure recognized engineering practices applicable are adopted.
- Review detailed HVAC design documents, calculations, and specifications that adhere to regulatory standards and client requirements.
- Review and verify design deliverables produced by junior engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Champion the integration of cutting-edge HVAC technologies and sustainable practices into project designs.
- Engage with clients to understand their unique HVAC needs, present design proposals, and address technical inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering strong client relationships.
Quality Assurance: Work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.
Safety: Responsible for personal safety and working within the Occupational Health & Safety procedures. Competent in implementing HSE in the design process, focuses on process safety and strives to use best practice.
Qualification
Technical and Industry Experience
- Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
- A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Competent use of mechanical engineering specific software.
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- Substantial technical and practical experience in mechanical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary teams.
Required:
- A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
Preferred:

Responsibilities- Provide technical design and engineering services in Mechanical Engineering for all assigned engineering projects Achieving the technical quality of work in accordance with the applicable procedures, whilst considering quality, schedule, cost and HSE
- Conduct Mechanical Engineering (Static) activities and in-house site surveys for projects, from the initial concept definition phase through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design and commissioning
- Directly responsible for ensuring Mechanical design/engineering Consultants/Contractor's deliverables comply with requirements Assesses and approves/recommends suitability of Mechanical Engineering submissions by Consultants/Contractors
- Single point technical responsibility and accountability for all assigned projects, within the Mechanical design/engineering area of authority
- Able to operate within broad guidelines set by established Company procedures, and guided by Engineering Codes and standards
- Responsible for evaluation, assessment and recommendation of new vendors proposed during the project phase
