Job Description
Primary Purpose of the Job
Responsible for integrated plans for vessel fleet optimization and cost-saving initiatives. Responsible for planning and coordinating various Marine activities with other Departments and JVs with the aim to deliver a robust and credible short/long-term plan & detailed schedule/fleet strategy of Marine resources.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Marine Planning, Coordination & Control/Operations/Offshore Management/Marine Management.
- Experienced in working in project environments and comfortable in working in a multinational team.
- Good command of English – both written and spoken.
- Analytical, creative/innovative problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with appropriate priority.
- Resilient under pressure (both internal and external).
- Strong ability to deal with competing priorities and complex issues.
- Demonstrated expertise in computer literacy, particularly with recognized computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP and scheduling tools like MS Projects for comprehensive planning, controlling, and analysis.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Sc. / Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Marine Degree or Equivalent.
