The Role?
The Pipeline Pre-Commissioning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing all site-level pre-commissioning activities on pipeline systems, including cleaning, gauging, flooding, hydrotesting, drying, nitrogen purging, inerting, and intelligent pigging operations. This role requires extensive hands-on experience with high-capacity nitrogen membrane systems and the coordination of multidisciplinary teams to safely deliver pipeline systems ready for commissioning.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
- Supervise the full suite of pre-commissioning activities, including:
- Pipeline flooding, cleaning, and gauging (FCG)
- Hydrostatic testing (HT)
- Dewatering and air drying
- Nitrogen purging/inerting using membrane and liquid nitrogen systems
- Intelligent pigging (ILI) and baseline tool runs
- Lead onshore and offshore execution at both launcher and receiver ends
