About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the revenue optimization of cargo capacity for passenger and freighter flights for the network. About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the revenue optimization of cargo capacity for passenger and freighter flights for the network. You will assist in setting and developing revenue management strategies for the assigned region, you will manage, develop, training and motivate a team of Cargo Inventory Management Specialist and Cargo Inventory Management Analyst.

As part of your role, your additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

Ensure the team follows a network-based approach in order to optimize the network margin as opposed to individual flight legs based on demand. Ensure team follows a consistent approach to monitor economic performance of flights. Detailed analysis of flow and flight trends and identify improvement opportunities Organize performance review platforms with relevant stakeholders in order to discuss economic performance of routes and highlight constraints. Set up constructive plans to mitigate constraints Determines cargo inventory managementstrategies and ensures these are implemented by the team ; Inventory controls, coordination with stakeholders for optimum mix between allotment capacity and free-sales capacity and inputs on long term optimization strategies, overbooking levels, decide on risk levels based on no-show trends. Overlooking evolution of Entry-conditions based on demand Monitor the business and commercial impact of these strategies through reports, analysis and feedback from the Cargo Inventory Management Lead and instruct Team on changes in strategies based on real time to maximum contributions. Participate in initiation, implementation and execution of projects as a subject matter expert, reporting to designated Manager Cargo Inventory Management. Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed

About the role

As a Revenue Management Pricing & Inventory Manager, you will be responsible to review and examine Revenue Management related data concerning passenger booking velocity, inventory availability, pricing, group request, take decisions affecting Pricing, Demand, Flight Inventory, Groups or Alliances and Global Pricing Products. You will play a key role through high frequency and targeted decision making that affects Qatar Airways competitiveness and ability to deliver its revenue goals and objectives including RASK.

You will monitor and manage route demand forecast, and ensure measures are implemented to reflect the correct decrements on the route. You will maintain deep understanding of the market, working with other stakeholders including CBI and regional teams, to gather insights on market size, demand and pricing, both online offline/interline, where such insights results in creating fare products, and price and availability decision making.

You will execute scenario modelling to analyze potential revenue impact of changes to interline/codeshares fares and rules, and provide data analysis that supports development of interline policies and offline pricing strategies/plans that optimize generation of interline passenger revenues for Qatar Airways.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Revenue Management Team.
- Min. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 6+ years of experience in revenue management either inventory, demand or pricing related.
- Experience working in an airline practicing point of sale and origin & destination controls.
- Knowledge of airline pricing and revenue management systems and tools such as PROS, Amadeus, airline tariffs, APTCO or SITA fate filing, Pricing systems or Group Revenue Management Systems.
- Advanced Analytical ability, and ability to use Microsoft Office software. Should be able to independently manipulate data sources to create actionable analysis and/or reports.
- Ability to train and develop subordinates skills, and foster teamwork among team members.

**About the role**

Carry out transactional Supply Chain functions and act as the Front face of Supply Chain to support Maintenance tasks and procure spares, components, complex assy., tools to support aircraft maintenance activities in Qatar Airways Technical.

**Accountabilities**

**Operational**
- Receive Aircraft Materials Requisitions (AMR’s), review price catalogues, call for quotes from other approved sources and negotiate to obtain acceptable lowest price, minimum delivery lead time on purchase and loan or exchange basis.
- Ensures to get correct DOA approval as per total order value and accordingly release order to concern approved supplier.
- Provides Inputs to assist supplier selection by providing best price, minimum delivery lead time, and preferred vendor location.
- Ensure all shelf life (SL) items are procured from fresh stock with a minimum of 80 % SL remaining.
- Make sure to receive order acknowledgement from supplier within 7 days from order release and follow up regularly with suppliers to ensure overall overdue orders should not exceed beyond 5%.
- Expedite overdue orders, potential shortage, and MDD item orders with Manufacturers/Vendors/Suppliers to ensure supply is made to support operations and mitigate the risk of spares non-availability.
- Monitor un-fulfilled loan and exchange orders, process the exchange out & loan return transactions and make sure that units are getting delivered to supplier within the stipulated time frame.
- Communicate and provide support for Light and Heavy Maintenance events and interact with relevant stakeholders to meet service expectations.
- Consult and liaise with the aircraft / component manufacturer and repair agencies regarding technical data to resolve or clarify issues related to the parts used during repairs of aircraft parts, tooling and other materials.
- Gathering information and processing scrap notes for approval in accordance with QR policy, for spares which are declared “Beyond Economical Repair” units (BER) or technically not repairable by supplier.
- Keep liaison between accounts payable team, stores quality team to monitor and close outstanding invoices and discrepancy units within 10 days after notification.
- Communicate and follow up with logistics team, freight forwarders for clearance of air/sea/road consignments.
- Ensure all one time offer contracts, exchange / loan agreements are being uploaded in ERP (QCAS) & all relevant details are filled for review by Qatar Airways Legal team.
- Provide assistance to the AOG desk to clear demands by determining if required parts are available on next higher or lower assemblies as available in stock.
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute improving support to customers.
- Ensure all transactions are in strict compliance as per TPM and departmental procedures.
- Carry out any other duties within the supply chain section as directed by the Fleet Supply Chain Officer (FSCO) and escalate unsettled issues to FSCO where necessary.

**Personal Development**
- Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth of expertise.
- Keep abreast with any market trends and developments
- Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program.
- Train Qatari staff in various duties as per business requirements
