• Join the coordination and management team of LEED and GSAS certification processes for various projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure sustainability goals are integrated into project design & construction from inception through completion.

• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for LEED and GSAS assigned criteria.

Program Details and Benefits

• Up to four fellows are selected annually.
• The fellowship is a three-year, 12-month appointment at Cornell. Support in years two and three depends on progress and funding.
• Fellows receive a salary of $65,000/year, Cornell benefits, and $12,000/year for research and travel expenses.
• The start date is flexible between June 1 and September 1, 2026.
• Fellows must reside in Ithaca, NY, to participate in activities.
• Fellows benefit from professional development through SLP workshops, held in person and online.

Required Materials

Submit a concise proposal abstract, a personal statement, research proposal, impact statement, CV, and four recommendation letters. Recommendations are submitted directly by referees and are due on the application deadline. Early communication with referees is encouraged.

Perform technical reviews of industrial processes, prepare engineering calculations and analysis, and manage Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) and energy inventories for company facilities. Provide technical advice on energy efficiency, climate change issues, and corporate sustainability targets. Support the management of climate change projects and ensure compliance at the facilities.

1. Support the development of standards and methodologies for corporate GHG emissions and energy inventories.
2. Maintain and validate GHG emission and energy inventories for management access and corporate reporting.
3. Support the assessment of cost-effective technologies to improve environmental performance in line with sustainability strategies.
4. Conduct technical-economic studies to promote energy efficiency and climate change mitigation in line with sustainability goals.
5. Coordinate with operational and engineering teams to identify carbon credit-generating projects for participation in international carbon markets.
6. Provide technical advice on international climate change laws, regulations, and carbon markets for decision-making.
7. Convert sustainability strategies into implementation plans for facilities.
8. Conduct on-site inspections of emission sources and abatement technologies, evaluate compliance, and provide guidance on industry best practices.

1. Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on climate change, GHG mitigation, energy efficiency, and compliance.
2. In-depth knowledge of climate change agreements, laws, and carbon credit markets.
3. Strong analytical and report-preparation skills.
4. Experience with air quality modeling is desirable.
5. Proficiency in implementing emission reduction plans and internal control processes.

Climate and Sustainability Leader / Director (IMEA - India, Middle East & Africa)

Location : Preferably Riyadh, KSA

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Climate and Sustainability Leader / Director to join our team in the IMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience, with a strong background in regional consulting within the Middle East. This role will involve leading and delivering Climate & Sustainability consulting teams, ensuring high-quality project deliverables, and supporting our vision through operational excellence and high client retention.

Key Responsibilities :
