Job Title : System Administrator II | Non -Exempt
Location: Qatar
Clearance Level: Active DoD - Secret
Summary
Perform standard system administration support and services which includes installation, configuration, operation, management, troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, inspecting and maintaining server systems, including administration of all core and functional services/systems for all of the organization's networks.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Will need to support:
- DHCP, Print Servers, GPOS, STIGs, and Permissions
- SCCM and patch deployment
- Systems Engineering
- VMWare, vCenter, VDI, Horizon, etc. via troubleshooting and resolving VMWare environment issues, designing and implementing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and template management, managing a VXRail environment, and deploying VMWare patches
- Powershell and Power CLI
- NetApp OCSM, Snapmirror, and NetApp best practices
- CISCO UCS, service profiles, and firmware updates
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher; and
- Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MCSA) or equivalent certification; and
- VMware Certified Associate (VCA) or equivalent certification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field; or 5+ years of IT Domain Knowledge experience
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to brief colleagues and leadership
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a high energy environment
- Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
- Sedentary – 10 lbs. Maximum lifting, occasional lift/carry of small articles. Some occasional walking or standing may be required. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
- Stand or Sit; Walk; Repetitive Motion; Use Hands / Fingers to Handle or Feel; Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, or Crawl; See; Climb (stairs, ladders) or Balance (ascend / descend, work atop, traverse).
