MicroTech is seeking a Global Command and Control Systems (GCCS) Systems Administrator Level II for the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Al Udeid AB, Qatar. The CAOC team provides technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks and activities for chat suite server clients and applications.
ResponsibilitiesThe candidate shall support the government technical personnel in the management, operation, maintenance, and administration of communications and IT systems in production, development, exercise, and training environments. Preventive, remedial, and corrective maintenance shall be performed to ensure systems are fully operational without degradation of service. Equipment shall be maintained as if it were providing service at all times.
- Perform technical support, O&M, and system administration tasks
- Install, patch, upgrade, tune, optimize, and repair hardware and software (including operating systems, applications, and databases)
- Maintain equipment and systems up to and including their demarcation points, coordinating with external entities during troubleshooting
- Update and maintain system/server configuration and connectivity documentation, publishing semi-annually
- Develop and submit a C2 Systems Administration Monthly Status Report
- 2+ years of administrative maintenance experience on GCCS servers at an AOC, SPO, or equivalent organization reviewed and approved by CO
- DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher
- Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Linux+, Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA), or equivalent certification
