**Your Career**
As a Systems Engineer, you’ll enable sales engagements into a set of large new enterprise accounts. You will play a key role in navigating complex accounts in order to generate and deliver winning proposals, contract bids, statements of work, and RFI/RFP responses. It is business critical to meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic account plans targeting enterprise-wide deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform.

**Qualifications**:
**Your Experience**
- 4+ years of experience as a successful pre-sales SE, systems integrator, or equivalent experience
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Palo Alto Networks products, with a focus on Next-Generation Firewall and some comparative technologies; Continuous technical development
- Experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-based systems
- Experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networks (L2 switching architectures including Spanning Tree, IP routing that includes OSPF and BGP, and L4 Load balancing)
- Understand and effectively present our security platform to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex multivariate problems and find a systematic approach to gain a quick resolution, often under duress
- Mature and effective time-management skills
- Prior experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances, including but not limited to: Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies and Caches
- Familiarity working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel-centric market approach
- Previous work in the enterprise networking security space
- Experience and knowledge of modern network threats and malware, network forensics, automation tools and technologies, and endpoint security technologies
- Significant industry certifications (SANS, CISSP, CCIE, etc)

**Primary purpose of job**
QatarEnergy is looking to recruit a Systems Engineer (Network Security) that will join a team responsible for the
preservation of information confidentiality, integrity and availability of ICT systems that support business operations.
The new member is required to support and maintain the day-to-day security operations and system change lifecycle of
critical security systems & services. The engineer shall provide technical support for selected security devices and services.
The role will be an enabler to the company’s success through development and implementation of security practices that
create a secure working environment.
**Experience & Skills**:
- Have five or more years of demonstrated experience in IT Network security operations functions.
- Implement security controls in line with QatarEnergy’s Cyber Security standards & policies to ensure information security
consistency and compliance. Provide the right security controls for the identified security gaps to ensure continuous security
enhancement in close coordination with the team lead and corresponding senior systems engineer.
- Provide the required support in response to security incidents/evidence collection tasks to help identify abnormal activities
and attacks, if any. In addition, provide support to maintain availability of implemented systems security infrastructure
including blocking IOCs and mitigating vulnerabilities.
- Manage, maintain configuration, availability and system lifecycle of perimeter, internal and cloud-based security
appliances, and services to ensure continuous business support as well as develop and maintain system documentation
and versioning to ensure up-to-date documentation of implemented technologies such as High-Level Designs, Low-Level
Designs, hardening documents, etc.
- Manage and support next generation and traditional firewalls, VPN solutions (Remote access and Site-to-Site), intrusion

- Manage and support endpoint authentication and authorization appliances as well as multifactor token issuing appliances
and services (one time password technologies) in order to safeguard user identities authentication.
- Manage and support DNS and DHCP appliances in order to ensure robust access to network resources and the internet.
