TECHNICAL SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge & Experience:

Bachelor Degree in IT or IT related field

6 minimum years' experience in developing software applications, preferably, out of which at least 3 years with insurance applications. Mainly in DWH systems with SAP Business Objects, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS)

Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role

Job Responsibility:

• Administrating infrastructure resources in the cloud (Azure, Oracle, Office 365) extensively with all Azure services such as Resource group, AVS, Virtual Machines, Storage, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Azure active directory, Azure AD Domain services, Azure security, and others.
• Maintaining backup and disaster recovery procedure and replication in all recovery sites.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a System Administrator located in the Doha Metropolitan Area. The System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's computer systems and servers. Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and IT systems.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions.

Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and patch management.

Manage virtualization environments (VMware / Hyper-V).

Ensure IT security policies are applied, including firewall, antivirus, and endpoint protection.

Provide technical support to internal users and resolve escalated IT issues.

Collaborate with vendors and external providers when required.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 7–10+ years in critical IT operations, preferably in financial markets or exchanges.
• Deep understanding of electronic trading platforms and high frequency systems.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems/TIBCO
