Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor of Law (LLB) from a recognised university.
Master of Law (LLM) in Taxation, Commercial Law, Administrative Law, or International Law preferred.
Licensed to practice law in Qatar or eligible for licensing.
6-8 years' legal practice experience in Qatar, with focus on taxation, commercial, or administrative law.
Experience litigating or advising on tax disputes (Income Tax, Capital Gains, Withholding Tax, Excise, or VAT).
Experience advising government entities, regulators, or Ministry of Finance in Qatar/GCC.
Familiarity with Qatari tax law, GCC VAT Framework Agreement, and double taxation treaties.
Strong ability to draft and interpret laws, regulations, and ministerial decisions.
Practical experience in pleadings and representation before Qatari courts and committees.
Knowledge of tax treaties, cross-border structuring, and transfer pricing principles.
