As the IFE Entertainment Development Manager , you will be responsible for supporting and contributing to the development and delivery of engaging in-flight entertainment experiences. Working under the guidance of senior leadership and you will be executing the in-flight entertainment strategy and contributing towards maintaining a diverse and appealing content offering. You will lead the selection and acquisition of content, and supports managing the relationships with content providers, streaming platforms, production companies, and technology vendors to enrich the entertainment portfolio.

Some Of The Tasks Include The Following:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Qatar Airways’ brand and target audience demographics. This includes identifying trends, analyzing competitor offerings, and forecasting future content needs.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with content providers, studios, distributors, and licensing agencies to secure high-quality and diverse entertainment options.
• Lead in the curation, selection and acquisition of entertainment content, ensuring they meets the standards of quality, diversity, and relevance. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously refresh and expand the content library.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate content delivery systems seamlessly into the inflight entertainment platform. Leverage technology solutions to enhance the passenger experience and streamline content management processes
• Utilize data analytics and passenger feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of content offerings. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize viewer engagement, satisfaction, and revenue generation.
• Ensure compliance with licensing agreements, copyright laws, and industry regulations governing the distribution of entertainment content. Stay informed about changes in regulations and proactively address any compliance issues.

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic professional to join the Product Development and Design.

• High School, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum of 9+ years of experience of inflight entertainment content and media integration systems.
• Financial understanding of content licensing pricing structure and operational costs
• Strategic mindset with ability to develop and execute long-term content strategies aligned with business objectives
• Familiarity with digital content delivery systems, inflight entertainment platforms, and related technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic
• Strong written reporting, attention to detail and communication skills.

This role involves close co-ordination with the Engineering contractor, Client , Project manager, QHSE team , planning team , materials department and other stakeholder for smooth operation/handover of the project on time, within budget, and as per project specifications.

Job Description

Job Summary: The Design / Engineering – Manager is responsible for overseeing / managing all design / engineering activities related to construction of flow line works. This role involves close co-ordination with the Engineering contractor, Client , Project manager, QHSE team , planning team , materials department and other stakeholder for smooth operation/handover of the project on time, within budget, and as per project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of design engineers / designer’s in the development of design packages for pipeline / flowline designs for onshore projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met within the specified scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee and guide the design of pipeline and flowline systems, including hydraulic calculations, material selection, route optimization, structural integrity, and system compatibility.
• Ensure designs adhere to local, national, and international regulations, including safety standards, environmental requirements, and industry codes (e.g., ASME, API, etc.).
• Ensure that designs meet quality standards, and that all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and delivered on time.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project expectations and address design concerns.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and construction of pipelines and flowlines within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry is must.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of GCC experience.
• Deep understanding of pipeline design, flowline systems, and related infrastructure., Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS, Caesar II, or similar tools.
• Experience in hydraulic analysis, stress analysis, and material selection for pipeline design.

This role involves close co-ordination with the Engineering contractor, Client , Project manager, QHSE team , planning team , materials department and other stakeholder for smooth operation/handover of the project on time, within budget, and as per project specifications. Job Summary: The Design / Engineering – Manager is responsible for overseeing / managing all design / engineering activities related to construction of flow line works. This role involves close co-ordination with the Engineering contractor, Client , Project manager, QHSE team , planning team , materials department and other stakeholder for smooth operation/handover of the project on time, within budget, and as per project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of design engineers / designer’s in the development of design packages for pipeline / flowline designs for onshore projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met within the specified scope, schedule, and budget. Oversee and guide the design of pipeline and flowline systems, including hydraulic calculations, material selection, route optimization, structural integrity, and system compatibility. Ensure designs adhere to local, national, and international regulations, including safety standards, environmental requirements, and industry codes (e.g., ASME, API, etc.). Ensure that designs meet quality standards, and that all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and delivered on time. Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project expectations and address design concerns.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and construction of pipelines and flowlines within the Oil & Gas industry. Experience in the oil and gas industry is must. Minimum of 6-8 years of GCC experience. Deep understanding of pipeline design, flowline systems, and related infrastructure., Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.). Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS, Caesar II, or similar tools. Experience in hydraulic analysis, stress analysis, and material selection for pipeline design.

**DESIGN/ENGINEERING MANAGER**

We are looking for a **DESIGN / ENGINEERING MANAGER** who will provide leadership and direction to the design construction, and commissioning teams during the planning development, and delivery phases of the project. To ensure that the design is managed in an efficient/effective manner providing completeness and constructability, with absolute priority for the delivery of the highest quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing the design and engineering process with technical compliance.
- Defining engineering progress and quality of packages.
- Maintain authority for any decision/instructions required to ensure continuity in the design function.
- Monitor all work. Manage technical team resources.
- Managing the quality and timely delivery of all design deliverables and submittals.
- Manage adherence to the Contractor's procedures.
- Conduct co-ordination meetings for the design and direct actions.
- Manage design development and project integration.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent*
- Chartered Engineer / RIBA qualified*

In this role, you will oversee rail systems and infrastructure design activities, monitor subcontractors, and ensure quality and compliance. The position is based in Doha, Qatar, offering exciting challenges and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in concept design, engineering, and feasibility studies for railway and road connections.
• Design and deliver railway infrastructure projects focusing on safety, reliability, and industry standards.
• Plan, design, and develop railway systems ensuring safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Work on track design, stations, signaling, and related infrastructure for passenger and freight rail.
• Develop detailed designs for tracks, bridges, tunnels, stations, including alignments and drainage.
• Integrate signaling and communication systems into railway designs.
• Supervise design activities, review subcontractor deliverables, and ensure quality control.
• Review design and engineering reports, procedures, and programs for operational and maintenance considerations.
• Identify issues and opportunities for improvement during design activities.
• Perform structural and geotechnical analyses for safety and durability.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to vibration, track stability, and environmental impact.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Railway Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in railway design engineering, with hands-on project experience.
• Experience in concept design, feasibility studies, and master planning for railway and road projects.
• Membership in relevant professional institutions and licensure preferred.
• 1-4 years’ experience in GCC locations preferred.
• Knowledge of railway design standards (e.g., EN 13848, UIC, BS EN 50126).
• Fluent in Arabic and English; excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Teams, SharePoint, and railway design software (e.g., Bentley Rail Track, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Valid driving license required.
