Managing Subcontractors:

  1. Oversee subcontractor agreements related to recruitment and onboarding services, ensuring all terms are clearly defined and compliant with legal and company standards.
  2. Follow up with recruitment agencies and subcontractors in a timely manner to ensure that resources are on boarded as per the department requirements, meeting deadlines and expectations.
  3. Arrange for necessary trade tests or skills assessments as required for specific roles, ensuring they are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.
  4. Ensure that all onboarding processes, including visa applications, gate passes, and other access requirements, are addressed promptly to avoid delays in the new hire’s start date.

Additional Administrative Support:

  1. Provide general administrative support to the recruitment team, including managing calendars, arranging meetings, and preparing meeting materials.

    The Middle East Region is seeking a Technical Superintendent to be based in Qatar.

    As a Technical Superintendent, you are responsible for the technical operational deployment, maintenance, and docking of vessels. In close cooperation with the international crew on board, you will ensure that the vessels are in an excellent technical and maintenance state to ensure the continuity of service to our client.

    You report to the Contract Manager with a functional line to the Group Technical Manager.

    • Handle damage reports and claims.
    • Conduct regular visits to vessels offshore for technical inspections and problem solving.
    Qualifications

    To succeed in this position, you will have the following:

    • A Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Maritime Engineering, or Naval Engineering.
    • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role or as Chief Engineer.
    • International work experience, preferably gained in the Middle East.
    • Excellent managerial and Project Management skills.
    • A team player with a collaborative approach, maintaining high standards and good work ethics.
    • High level of organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes that are accurate, complete, and timely.
    • Fluent command of the English language, spoken and written.
