Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Flight Operations team as a Technical Instructor.
In this role you will be responsible for conducting technical courses and exams for Flight Operations, developing, updating and maintaining technical training materials in compliance with the latest regulations of EASA, QCAR-FCL and respective OM-D, OM-A and all other operational manuals.
**Some responsibilities of the role include**:
- Ensure Technical Training courses and Operational Ground courses are conducted in compliance with EASA, QCAR and company standard.
- Design and monitor production of technology-based training materials and courseware ensuring it is in line with regulatory requirements.
- Carry out duties of a Knowledge Examiner and Practical Assessor in accordance with the requirements detailed in EASA and QCAR No. 001/2016: Part FCL.
- Conduct computer training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, workflow, and reports through understanding job-specific functions and tasks.
- Design ground training manuals by identifying and describing information needs in compliance with regulatory requirements; using desktop publishing; submitting initial versions for review; revising and editing final copy.
- Maintain the standard of training environment by following QCAR, EASA and company regulations and procedures.
- Ensure operation of ground training by completing all the courses of training; maintaining training type inventories; evaluating new training and techniques and introducing the techniques for enhanced performance of the section.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 7 years of job-related experience.
- Formal accreditation in training and development such as Flight Engineer / factory training or specific training as ground trainer.
- Previous hands on operational experience in a ground services, commercial or cargo role.
- Excellent communication skills are required to express the training material in an easily understandable manner
- Relationship building and being able to build rapport within the classroom is essential to make the training courses successful.
- Strong technical knowledge to address any questions / deviations from the course material.
- Strong monitoring and coaching skills, ability to train and develop and ability to foster teamwork among team members.
- Strong facilitation and Training design skills.

- Maintain effective links with QEAF Cadet Welfare teams.
- Deliver customer-focused training to ensure satisfaction.
- Meet all SHE, statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
- Level 4 Qualification in Teaching & Learning (including 90 hours of teaching practice).
- Minimum of 5 years training delivery experience outside of the TI, or 2 years within, in areas such as apprentice training, military trade training, type training, FE College (Engineering or Science), or TAQA qualification.
- Experience in training design following BSAT/DSAT models.
