In this role, responsible for creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation that communicates complex technical information to diverse audiences, including developers, engineers, end-users, and stakeholders. Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation that communicates complex technical information to diverse audiences, including developers, engineers, end-users, and stakeholders.
  • Involves working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical details into accessible content, such as user manuals, system guides, API documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and online help resources.
  • Write and edit technical content including manuals, user guides, installation instructions, FAQs, SOPs, product documentation, and knowledge base articles.
  • Work with engineers, developers, product managers, and QA teams to gather technical information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Organize information logically using consistent structure, formatting, and terminology, ensuring alignment with style guides and brand voice.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand language appropriate for the target audience.
  • Maintain and update documentation in content management systems (CMS), version control systems (e.g., Git), and document repositories.
  • Review and edit existing documentation for clarity, grammar, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate, Master's/Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in technical writing (e.g., from the Society for Technical Communication).
  • International membership in relevant professional institution and Certified Licensure related to the task are preferred.
  • Minimum 10 or more years' experience relevant to position in project. Experience in technical writing, preferably in industry, e.g., software development, engineering, healthcare, manufacturing.
  • Experience writing for both technical and non-technical report writing in feasibility studies, master plan, and Executive Summary.
  • Knowledge of structured writing or XML-based documentation (e.g., DITA).
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.

  2. Write, edit, and deliver requested content on time, within tight deadlines, and to a high standard or minimal editing.

  4. Fully develop content that captures the client's brand voice and aligns with their overall strategy, using culturally relevant language that is distinct and harmonious with the visual elements.
  5. Generate and execute creative ideas across various platforms, bringing them to life in compelling ways.
  6. Assist in the creation of additional material, which includes developing brand personas and defining brand voice and tone for clients.
  7. Collaborate with team members to create engaging social content, copy, and editorial calendars that align with client needs, contributing to the conceptual and direction for assigned accounts at both the day-to-day and strategic levels.
  8. Coordinate closely with the wider team on business proposals.
  9. Fulfill additional duties and assume project management responsibilities as assigned.
  10. Develop content that is aligned with your client’s objectives and goals, and directed properly at the audience.
  11. Follow your client’s brand tone of voice.
  12. Write and review copies of press releases, speeches, documents, technical sheets, project timelines, presentations, work plans, strategies, frameworks and more.

  14. Be accurate and produce quality content.
  15. Collaborate with team members and the wider team to curate and create compelling content and ideas while researching your audience.
  16. Develop and implement quality assurance standard processes for materials and development.
  17. Provide feedback to team members on written material and input.
  18. Streamline processes for writers and develop templates that are easy to adapt and apply to use.
  19. Write, edit, and proofread PR material for publications, campaigns, and advertisements.
  20. Present ideas clearly and effectively in written form, and write and edit language or terminology to meet the needs of the request or as suitable.
  21. Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning financial and material files.
  22. Utilize computer skills, including the ability to operate software including MS Office Suite to create spreadsheets, compose messages, handle databases, PowerPoint presentations, reports, and documents, as well as project management software.
  23. Demonstrate effective written communication skills.
  24. Provide clerical support to ensure that PR materials are maintained in an effective, up-to-date and accurate manner.
  25. Write and edit transcripts.
  26. Capable of writing, editing and updating press releases, outhouse magazines, features, brochures, articles, leaflets, ‘in-house' journals/magazines/newsletters, reports, publicity/informational brochures, information for websites and texts/audio contents for promotional/motivational/encouraging videos.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  1. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in literature, communications, journalism, international relations, political science, English, or other related disciplines.
  2. Arabic language skills will be highly regarded.
  3. 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Gulf region.
