Boeing Global Service is seeking for three Crew Chief / APG Repair Technician to assist in our maintenance efforts in Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar .

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
  • Oversees training.
  • Works under general direction.
  • Able to perform Cross Utilization Training (CUT), as required.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with fighter aircraft maintenance and or aircraft production.

  • Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15) or civilian Jet Powered aircraft.

  • Candidates should have Phase in-depth fighter experience as either APG, Engines, Avionics, or E&E.

  • FAA Airframes and Powerplant (A&P) License desirable.

This position is for a Field Technician in Aftermarket and Service, reporting to the Service Supervisor. Responsibilities include installing, testing, servicing, and repairing equipment to meet company specifications and customer requirements.
