Human resource officers are the behind-the-scenes collaborators and colleagues whose main job responsibilities are focused on helping HR directors and managers accomplish HR-related tasks.

HR Officers are involved with nearly all programs and services that relate to a company's human resources division. Their work, which is often decidedly administrative in nature, involves documenting grievances, terminations, absences, performance reports, and compensation and benefits information.

Beyond administrative duties, however, HR officers are also often involved in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees. • Making sure that staff get paid correctly and on time
• Pensions and benefits administration
• Approving job descriptions and advertisements
• Looking after the health, safety, and welfare of all employees
• Organizing staff training sessions and activities
• Monitoring staff performance and attendance
• Advising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employer's own employment policies and procedures
• Ensuring candidates have the right to work at the organization
• Negotiating salaries, contracts, working conditions, or redundancy packages with staff and representatives.

Pay : QAR 3500.00 - QAR 5000.00 per month

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 and industry-specific standards.
• Conduct internal and supplier quality audits as a certified Lead Auditor.
• Supervise QA / QC inspections and testing of materials, processes and products.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory, client and company requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective / preventive actions.
• Maintain documentation and records in alignment with audit and quality standards.

Job Title: QA/QC Engineer - Oil & Gas

Location: Qatar

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Engineer to join a leading oil and gas project in Qatar. The role will focus on ensuring the highest standards of quality management, compliance, and assurance across all phases of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
• Oversee inspection and testing activities conducted by contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Conduct audits and prepare audit reports in accordance with ISO 9001, and preferably ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Ensure compliance with project-specific quality requirements, including preparation and review of quality documents such as PQP, MST, ITP, WIR, MIR, MAS, material testing records, PQDs, NCRs, and related documentation.
• Analyse quality performance data, prepare statistical reports, and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to address quality-related matters and ensure smooth coordination between site and management teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (MMUP accreditation advantageous).
• Minimum 10 years' experience, with at least 5 years in Quality Assurance & Quality Control, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards, including ISO 9001, QCS 2014, BS, and ACI.
• Proven experience with QMS implementation, auditing, and reporting.
• Familiarity with inspection and testing procedures across civil and structural works.
• IRCA (or equivalent) Lead Auditor certification for IMS standards preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Must be locally available in Qatar.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale oil and gas infrastructure projects.
• Background in port, marine, or industrial construction projects.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and reporting.
