My client is one of the world's leading Principal Main Contractors, with a 120-year history of delivering iconic projects across all continents within the Building and Infrastructure sectors. With over 10,000 employees globally, they are renowned for their expertise in design and build, as well as for using highly innovative construction methods.

Our client has been active in the GCC region for over 20 years and has recently been awarded a multi-million dollar mixed-use development project in Doha, Qatar. The scheme includes high-rise buildings for commercial, hotel, and retail purposes, and will involve all traditional principal main contracting duties. The project is already underway and is expected to complete by 2016.

We are seeking to recruit a Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Manager to work as part of the MEP and construction team on site.

As the T&C Manager, your duties will include:

  1. Producing testing and commissioning strategy plans, forms, procedures, manuals, and project close-out documents.
  2. Formulating commissioning schedules.
  3. Overseeing installation and commissioning of MEP systems.
  4. Collaborating with client consultants and design teams.
  5. Working closely with the MEP teams.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Current GCC experience.
  • Experience working as a T&C Manager, Testing & Commissioning Engineer, or in a similar capacity.
  • Experience working for a main contractor on building projects.
