Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Medical Center in Qatar. The successful candidate will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic programs to support patients in improving their ability to perform daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical and mental condition related to their occupational performance.
• Develop customized intervention plans to enhance patients' daily functioning.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, other therapists, and caregivers.
• Document patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on home programs and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 4 years of post-licensure experience (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Culturally competent and able to work in a diverse team.

Licensing Requirements (Must Meet One of the Following):

Valid MOPH License (Ministry of Public Health – Qatar)

OR

Completed DataFlow report + Passed Prometric Exam

The role includes implementing therapy plans, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and working closely with families and educators to support the children's needs.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation skills
• Medicine and Pediatrics knowledge
• Strong Communication skills
• Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental challenges
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Additional certifications in Pediatrics or Developmental Therapy are a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and support motor, sensory, and daily living skills for children with special needs.
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans to build independence and functional skills.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families for holistic intervention.
• Document progress and contribute to IEP/program planning.

Qualifications

• Must be currently living in Qatar
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Flexible to work in shifts, up to 8:00 pm
