Job Summary:

The Plumber is responsible for installations of plumbing systems, repairs, and performing regular maintenance. This role ensures that all plumbing systems are functional, safe, and compliant with relevant codes and standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Installation:

· Install, repair, and replace plumbing systems and fixtures, including pipes, faucets, sinks, toilets, and water heaters.

· Install and connect water supply lines, drainage systems, and venting systems according to local codes and regulations.

Repair:

· Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and low water pressure, using specialized tools and techniques.

· Repair or replace damaged pipes, fixtures, and fittings to restore proper function and prevent future problems.

· Address emergency plumbing issues promptly to minimize damage and disruption.

Maintenance:

· Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues.

· Clean and maintain plumbing systems, including drains and pipes, to prevent blockages and ensure efficient operation.

· Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper function, making adjustments or repairs as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or degree in Plumbing Technology or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a plumber, with experience in maintenance roles preferred.
