Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician located in Doha, Qatar. The technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating and air conditioning systems. Daily tasks include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and solutions. Technicians are also expected to comply with EPA regulations and adhere to safety standards.

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician with specialized expertise in Air Conditioning systems, complemented by strong working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will be a versatile problem-solver capable of handling a wide range of maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Primary AC/HVAC Duties:

· Install, maintain, service, and repair various types of air conditioning units (split, window, central systems, VRV/VRF).

· Perform diagnostic troubleshooting to identify AC system malfunctions.

· Conduct routine preventive maintenance, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing filters.

· Recharge refrigeration systems and handle refrigerants according to safety protocols.

1. Multi-Skilled Electrical Duties:

· Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and components associated with HVAC systems.

· Connect electrical wiring to HVAC units and ensure proper functionality of thermostats and control systems.

· Perform basic electrical maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards (e.g., NEC, local codes).

· Identify and resolve electrical issues that may affect HVAC performance.

1. Multi-Skilled Plumbing Duties:

· Handle the installation and maintenance of drainage systems, pipes, and condensate lines for AC units.

· Troubleshoot and unclog drain lines to prevent water leakage and damage.

· Perform basic plumbing repairs and connections related to HVAC equipment.

· Ensure all plumbing work is performed to prevent leaks and water damage.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Must-Have:

· Proven experience (min. 3-5 years) as an AC Technician or HVAC Technician.

· Demonstrable hands-on experience performing basic electrical and plumbing tasks.

· Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing principles.

· Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.

· Preferred (Optional but a plus):

· A relevant vocational training certificate or diploma in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing.

Responsibility of Industrial Refrigeration Maintenance Ammonia System

· Perform preventive maintenance on utilities equipment.

· Troubleshoot and repair industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.

· Troubleshooting and repair HVAC systems and chilled water systems.

· Troubleshoot and repair boiler/steam systems.

· Troubleshoot and repair domestic water heating systems.

· Maintain boiler/condenser water chemical systems.

· Maintain refrigeration, cooling tower (condenser), and boiler logbooks.

· Performance of duties assigned with focus on safety, quality (of product and task) and GMP's.

· Execute work orders on time as assigned by planner/scheduler, PSM Manager, or other members of management as assigned in proper priority.

· Calibration of any/all equipment and instruments as assigned.

· Responsible for housekeeping of any and all work areas during and following performed work.

· Manage plant utilities systems to include but not limited to the plant refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, compressed air, (FUTURE -Wastewater Treatment system.

· Key contributor to the installation and maintenance, mechanical and electrical equipment.
