Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.

Qualifications:

B.Sc. or Higher Diploma/Diploma in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university. Maritime, Marine Logistics, offshore, and Port Operations certifications are advantageous.

Experience:

8-10 years of offshore capital projects logistics management and coordination experience.

Strong team building, coordination, and teamwork skills.

Ability to supervise a multi-cultural workforce.

Good IT and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate offshore and subsea logistics planning, control, and management for various offshore projects.

Act as a liaison between project teams, departments, stakeholders, and JV entities.

Evaluate marine vessels proposed by contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Coordinate inspections and readiness for vessel mobilization.

Support technical evaluations of offshore marine support vessels during bidding.

Manage project logistics charges and coordinate with relevant departments for closure.

Coordinate with Marine, HSE, and PTS departments for inspections and compliance.

Organize inspections to ensure punch items are closed before mobilization.

Keep project leaders informed of execution issues and recommend solutions.

Act as the main communication point for offshore execution activities.

Review project scope related to offshore logistics and provide input during FEED and bidding stages.

Coordinate offshore survey activities and marine access requirements.
